Creative Technology has announced the launch of the Creative Aurvana Trio LS wired in-ear headphones. Despite being lightweight, the model is said to focus primarily on a successful soundstage, offering clearer highs and richer bass than other analog headphones.
Distortion-free audio experience
For example, the Creative Aurvana Trio LS are distinguished primarily by the Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) technology used. This is said to eliminate inconsistencies in driver performance that occur with conventional adhesive manufacturing in most other headphones.
The manufacturer promises smooth and consistent movement across the entire driver, reducing distortion while improving overall sound quality. The 9.3 mm liquid silicone rubber drivers offer a frequency range of 20-20,000 Hz and connect using a gold-plated 3.5 mm connector.
The cable is equipped with a new type of sawtooth jacket, which should help minimize noise caused by friction. The integrated microphone finds a place in the compact cable remote, which can be used to answer calls or control music playback at the touch of a button.
Super X-Fi Certification
The Creative Aurvana Trio LS are also Super X-Fi certified to work with suitably compatible products such as the Creative SXFI AMP. This makes it possible to display high-resolution holographic sound as if from a high-end multi-speaker system directly in the ear canal.
The exclusive in-ear noise isolation design also ensures an optimal and tight fit in the ear, effectively blocking out background noise. Active noise cancellation (ANC), on the other hand, is not provided.
Price and Availability
The Creative Aurvana Trio LS are available now for an MSRP of 39.99 euros at Creative.com. Presumably, the in-ear headphones will soon find their way into the wider retail market.
