Creative Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2 – smart webcam

Creative has unveiled its new webcam, the Creative Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2. The webcam offers so much, from automatic voice recognition, to the suppression of disturbing noises – so it’s not just great for the home office.

Smart features

For the new Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2, first of all the two built-in microphones have been improved. In addition, the webcam offers full HD video recording in 1080p at 30 frames per second. This makes for smoother communication and more sharpness for the next video conference, for example, but it’s also not outstanding. The current SmartComms Kit of the Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2 also makes online communication easier and smarter. With the VoiceDetect function, the microphone is only activated when the webcam detects the user’s voice.

To ensure that annoying background noise doesn’t stand a chance, the webcam also has a NoiseClean-out function. This effectively reduces annoying background noise so that conversations remain clear and understandable. All features can be downloaded and installed from a Windows 10 system via the Creative app. With this, the Creative Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2 has a whole range of smart features to improve communication.

Quick setup

In addition to its many features, the Creative Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2 is UVC (USB video device class) compliant. This makes the webcam easy to set up, and drivers are not required for installation. The webcam simply connects to the computer via a USB-A port and is ready to use. Additionally, the camera has a lens cover to further protect privacy. The universal mount is used to attach the webcam, making it completely flexible to adjust according to the user’s preference.

The new Creative Live! Cam Sync 1080p V2 can be purchased now for 49.99 euros. This is the introductory price, regularly the webcam will then cost 59.99 euros.
