Creative MUVO GO: Lightweight and powerful sound Bluetooth speaker

With the Creative MUVO GO, the manufacturer has introduced a new Bluetooth speaker that expands the MUVO series along with its particularly lightweight devices. The waterproof and portable MUVO Go features rich audio performance, reliable wireless connectivity, and long battery life.

The Creative MUVO GO in detail

The new Creative MUVO GO Bluetooth speaker is said to be particularly durable and robust. It is IPX7 certified and waterproof. Due to its compact design, the low weight of only 570 g and the integrated lanyard attachment for attaching to the bike or backpack, it is particularly handy and flexible to use.

The Bluetooth speaker realizes the sound in the modern Bluetooth 5.3 standard and thus ensures a fast pairing and reliable connection to smartphone, tablet, PC and more.

Despite its compact size of only 73 mm x 61 mm x 204 mm (length x width x height), the speaker achieves a battery life of up to 18 hours thanks to a total of two built-in 2,600 mAh batteries. Charging is done via USB Type-C.

With this, the BT speaker wants to take on other compact models such as the JBL Go 3 Eco and Clip 4 Eco, which are also made for outdoor use. Sony has also introduced new devices with the XG300, XE300 and XE200 models as recently as June 2022.

Convincing sound

Sound-wise, the Creative MUVO GO comes in at a remarkable peak power of 40 watts and covers a frequency range of 60 Hz to 20,000 Hz. A combination of two neodymium full-range drivers and passive bass radiators is used.

And that with a signal-to-noise ratio of ≥ 75 dB. However, only SBC is used as the Bluetooth codec; unfortunately, the speaker does not support high-resolution codecs. For even richer and more immersive sound, two devices can be paired via Wireless Stereo Link.

In doing so, the speaker can also be used standing upright and particularly space-saving, or lying flat, which is said to benefit the sound in terms of clarity and detail.
