Creative has introduced two new headphones that rely on bone-sound technology. The Creative Outlier Free Pro are the premium version. In addition to the promising technical specifications of the standard version, they also offer an integrated music player with 8 GB of storage space. So you no longer have to take an external source device with you here.
Creative Outlier Free Pro keep your ears free
Many people do without conventional headphones during sports, as they prefer the “freedom” of their ears. It’s not hard to understand why. After all, headphones in on-, over- or in-ear design close or cover the ear canal or the entire ear cup. For those who don’t want to do that, models with alternative technology have been available for quite some time. These rely on bone conduction technology, which keeps the ears free at all times. Joggers and other outdoor athletes in particular prefer this design, as they can still perceive their surroundings. This ensures greater safety, especially in road traffic.
But how does the sound get into your ears? Here, the Creative Outlier Free Pro emits sound waves and vibrations, which it sends to the wearer’s cheekbones. These are then sent further to the inner ear via the bone. This allows you to listen to music and podcasts without blocking your ear canals. In addition to sound technology, the durable headphones made of silicone and a titanium alloy are distinguished by their water resistance. Thanks to an IPX8 certification, they can even be worn while swimming. The battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge allows for extensive swimming sessions.

Headphones with integrated music player
Another highlight that distinguishes the Creative Outlier Free Pro from the standard version is the integrated music player. This offers a total of 8 GB of storage space and supports all common music formats with MP3, FLAC, WAV and APE. The integrated player should pay off especially during long jogging tours or swimming.
Finally, you don’t have to rely on an external source device to send music to the headphones here. But of course, that’s also possible. For high-quality wireless music transmission, the Creative Outlier Free Pro offer Bluetooth 5.3, and thanks to multipoint connectivity, two devices can be connected at the same time. The built-in microphone can also be used to make phone calls. Alternatively, you can use it to use the Siri and Google Assistant voice assistants.
