DAZN price increase: Sports streaming now costs up to 40 euros per month

For the third time in just two years, the sports streaming service is raising its prices. After the current DAZN price increase, 40 euros per month will be due for the subscription.

DAZN price increase 2023: 39.99 euros per month for the subscription

DAZN continues to be the leading streaming provider when it comes to sports. Now they are introducing a new subscription structure, which also comes with another DAZN price increase. What was once 11.99 euros per month is now, at the highest level, 39.99 euros per month – but that only applies to new customers. Most recently, the price for all content in the subscription was 29.99 euros per month, and this price will continue to apply to existing customers.

With the new subscription structure, the provider now divides its offer into three rates. The DAZN Unlimited plan offers all sports and content for 39.99 euros per month. As before, two streams can be played in parallel, while six devices can be registered. You can save a little by paying annually. From now on, only 29.99 euros will be due, converted to the monthly price.

In addition, there are two other subscription tiers that represent a novelty: “DAZN Standard” includes, for example, the German Soccer Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League, the NFL and NBA, as well as UFC, and that for 29.99 euros per month or 24.99 euros monthly with annual payment.

The cheapest subscription tier, on the other hand, is “DAZN World” and includes darts, handball, tennis, the FA Cup, and the WWE, for example. The most exciting soccer competitions are not included here, but the subscription only costs 9.99 euros per month.

Parallel streaming is no longer possible in either of the smaller models, and only three registered devices are allowed in the standard subscription.

According to information from DAZN, the prices after the latest DAZN price increase only apply to new customers, existing customers are not affected – at least at the current time.

However, it is unclear how long this will remain the case. Even the provider says that there are no plans to adjust the price for existing subscriptions “at the moment”.
