DeepCool AK500: New high-performance CPU cooler unveiled

With the DeepCool AK500, the manufacturer has introduced a new, high-performance CPU cooler. The single-tower CPU cooler relies on a large heatsink, five advanced heatpipes and a highly efficient 120mm FDB fan.

DeepCool AK500 Unveiled

The new DeepCool AK500 CPU fan expands the manufacturer’s AK series, which added the AK400 (our review) and AK620 (our review) in May. Thanks to the FK120 120mm FDB fan, it is said to offer excellent cooling performance and strong heat dissipation optimized by optimizing the internal capillary structure and injecting a precise amount of liquid and five copper heat pipes.

Up to 240W of heat is said to be dissipated while the cooler can be installed either vertically or horizontally. “This perfect ratio enables a highly efficient phase change in the heatpipes and ensures lower thermal resistance across a wide TDP spectrum,” promises the manufacturer.

When it comes to design, the manufacturer has thought along. Angled and offset heatpipes allow free access to the RAM slots and at the same time full clearance for memory modules with high heatspreaders.

The metal mounting bracket allows easy installation, compatible CPU cooler with the latest sockets from Intel and AMD.
