DeepCool CG540 and CG560: Two new cases announced

Manufacturer DeepCool has officially introduced the two new midi-tower ATX cases CG560 and CG540. They focus on improved cooling support and increased compatibility and differ mainly by the front.

Glass or Mesh

Differences between the two cases can be found on the front. The CG560 features a mesh front panel with a crosshair pattern that allows for optimal airflow. The CG540 has a tempered glass front panel with a similar crosshair pattern.

Both front panels have extra-large vents on both sides to ensure adequate airflow. The toolless tempered glass side cover easily slides on and snaps into place for security, including captive screws. This ensures quick hardware replacement.

These are two cases in the ATX form factor, which rely on a compact size of 455 x 230 x 470 mm. Mainboards from the Mini-ITX to E-ATX form factor can be installed. The CPU cooler may be a maximum of 175 mm high and the graphics card up to 380 mm long.

Strong cooling performance

Both cases feature newly developed DeepCool performance fans, which are said to provide concentrated airflow and excellent cooling. From the factory, the manufacturer installs three 120mm ARGB fans and one 140mm performance fan, and in total both cases can accommodate up to six 120mm or five 140mm fans.

The spacious interior supports liquid cooling radiators up to 280mm/360mm on the front and up to 240mm/280mm on the top. In addition, the CG540 and CG560 offer two 2.5-inch SSD bays and two 3.5-inch hard drive bays in a removable cage.

The front I/O features two USB 3.0 ports and an RGB controller for the pre-installed ARGB fans. At the same time, the DeepCool CG540 weighs around 7.5 kg thanks to the Tempered Glass front, while the DeepCool CG560 is around 500 grams lighter.

Prices and availability

The two midi-tower ATX cases DeepCool CG540 and CG560 will be available in October at an MSRP of 79.90 euros.
