Dell UltraSharp U4323QE: 43-inch monitor with 4K resolution presented

Dell was represented with a whole range of new products at CES 2023 and showed the UltraSharp 34, Concept Nyx or the G15 gaming notebook, among others, on site. With the Dell UltraSharp U4323QE, you can expect a 43-inch monitor with 4K resolution that can also display four Full HD images simultaneously.

With a screen diagonal of 43 inches and a 4K resolution with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, the Dell UltraSharp U4323QE is already well positioned. The monitor’s special feature: It can optionally also display four windows of a PC in Full HD resolution at the same time or the images from four external sources at the same time with Internal Multi-Stream Transport (iMST). Thanks to the integrated KVM switch, you can easily switch peripherals from one source to another without having to reconnect them.

Otherwise, the display offers pure standard fare. This includes a refresh rate of 60 hertz, an IPS-typical viewing angle of 178 degrees and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 with a maximum brightness of 350 cd/m².

According to the manufacturer, the response time is 8 ms gray-to-grey, or five milliseconds in Fast Mode. The sRGB color space is at least covered by 95 percent, which should make the monitor quite suitable for image editing.

Many modern connections

End devices connect to the Dell UltraSharp U4323QE via two modern HDMI 2.1 ports. In addition, there are a total of three DisplayPort 1.4 ports, one of which is made available via USB Type-C. The latter is also capable of connecting devices via a USB port. The latter is also capable of charging connected notebooks or devices with up to 90 watts.

The other port selection includes an RJ45 port, as well as a USB-C and USB-A port that can be folded out via a hidden tray on the bottom of the monitor. Charging smartphones and other devices is also possible here on the USB-C port, albeit only at a speed of 15 watts.

Built-in is also a 3.5 mm jack, while two integrated 8-watt speakers are present on the 18.5 kg for audio playback. The display can also be tilted between -5 degrees and +10 degrees, swiveled 20 degrees in either direction, and adjusted 60 mm in height.

The UltraSharp U4323QE is scheduled to be released first in North America, where it will begin shipping as early as January 31, 2023. The MSRP there is $1,329.99. It is currently unclear when the monitor will also be available in Germany.
