Logitech is considered a pioneer in the field of peripherals for Mac devices in the Apple cosmos. Now they are expanding their portfolio with new mice and keyboards. Among them, the new MX Mechanical Mini for Mac, MX Master 3S for Mac, Lift for Mac and K380 for Mac.
Designed for Mac: New products from Logitech
Logitech’s new Designed for Mac product line is aimed at all users of Macs and Macbooks in the Apple ecosystem. They represent a for seamless compatibility and reliability in many application areas.
Among them, for example, the MX Mechanical Mini for Mac. It builds on the outstanding low-profile MX Mechanical keyboard, whichwon the Gold Award in our test. It is the manufacturer’s first mechanical keyboard designed with mechanical keys specifically for the Mac and features a corresponding key layout.
It is offered in the colors Space Grey and Pale Grey. There is also the option to customize key combinations and individualize personal productivity and creativity with Logi Options+.
The MX Mechanical Mini for Mac features Tactile Quiet Switches and offers intelligent backlighting that responds to different lighting conditions for ideal readability. Thanks to Easy-Switch, up to three different Apple devices running macOS, iPadOS or iOS can be linked to the keyboard, while the keyboard is charged via a USB-C port.
The K380 is also more compact. The K380 multi-device keyboard is a modern keyboard with a minimalist layout. The lightweight, space-saving keyboard is available in the new Blueberry color and is supposed to score with a high typing comfort both at home and on the go.
New mice: MX Master 3S and Lift for Mac
To go with the keyboards, two familiar mice also find their way into the Apple cosmos in the Designed for Mac series. Among them is the MX Master 3S for Mac in the colors Space Grey and Pale Grey.
Logitech already introduced the professional Creator mouse in May 2022, the new Mac model works with up to three different Apple devices under macOS and iPadOS thanks to Easy-Switch.
The MagSpeed electromagnetic wheel allows users:inside to skim 1,000 lines per second and set DPI between 1,000 and 8,000 to work precisely on one or more high-resolution monitors.
The buttons trigger especially quietly thanks to Quiet Clicks, and the mouse is also said to work precisely on glass and can be recharged via USB-C while in use.
Joining them is the ergonomic Logitech Lift for Mac. It’s designed for all-day comfort and is ideal for people with small to medium-sized hands. The 57° angle of the Lift for Mac was developed and tested in the Logitech Ergo Lab and puts the hand in a natural position. We had already been able to test the Windows model for left-handers ourselves here and were extremely taken with it.
Like all of Logitech’s products, the Designed for Mac series focuses on sustainable design. The plastic parts in the MX for Mac and Lift for Mac products are made from certified, post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic that is recycled after use.
Between 22 percent in the case of the MX Master 3S for Mac in Pale Grey and 54 percent in the Lift for Mac are made from recycled plastic. All Logitech products are also certified carbon neutral.
Prices and Availability
The entire Logitech Designed for Mac line is expected to make its way to retailers before the end of September 2022 and will be available at logitech.com. Pricing starts at an MSRP of $49.99 for the K380 for Mac.
The Lift for Mac is priced at 79.99 euros, while the MX Master 3S for Mac is 129.99 euros. The Logitech MX Mechanical Mini for Mac has an MSRP of 159.99 Euros.
