But DJI has made some refinements in the details: The body has been redesigned and an additional switch has been added to the left side. The hardware buttons no longer feature the silver accents of its predecessor, and the brand logos are much more prominent.

Even more exciting than the design is what’s under the hood. The leaked video footage suggests that the Osmo 360 II records 8K video at 60 fps. The first Osmo 360 is limited to 50 fps at 8K. More frames per second mean smoother motion and more flexibility for slow-motion shots in 360-degree footage. However, the 8K60 mode hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.
Larger Battery and Possible NFC Functionality
Earlier leaks suggest a battery that’s about 10 percent larger. Instead of the current model’s 1,950 mAh, that would be around 2,150 mAh. Whether this actually translates to longer battery life depends on how much extra power the more powerful camera consumes. Other reports mention NFC for faster pairing via tap, as well as interchangeable lens covers. The sensor and lenses, on the other hand, are expected to remain unchanged from the predecessor.
