DJI is expanding its popular Pocket series with a new flagship model following the Pocket 4 (our review). The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro introduces an additional telephoto camera with 3x zoom to the compact vlogging format for the first time and is aimed at content creators seeking greater creative possibilities while maintaining high mobility. In addition to the new camera module, the Pro version offers an expanded dynamic range, professional color profiles, and a bright OLED display for shooting under a wide variety of conditions.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro expands the Pocket concept with an optical telephoto zoom
The biggest new feature of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is the additional telephoto camera. While earlier models relied primarily on a single wide-angle camera, DJI has now integrated a second lens with an equivalent focal length of 60 mm. This allows users to bring subjects closer without having to resort to digital zoom.
The telephoto camera features a fast f/1.8 aperture and is based on a 1/1.28-inch sensor. Despite the smaller sensor compared to the main camera, DJI promises high light sensitivity. In photo mode, the ISO range extends up to 25,600, and for video recording in low-light conditions, it even reaches ISO 51,200.
The main camera remains unchanged with its 1-inch sensor, a focal length of 20 mm, and an aperture of f/2.0. According to the published technical specifications, the camera achieves a dynamic range of up to 17 stops. This means the Pro version outperforms the standard Osmo Pocket 4 and is designed to capture more image detail, particularly in high-contrast scenes.
Additionally, the camera supports the D-Log 2 color profile, enabling professional color grading and expanded editing flexibility in post-production. For videographers and vloggers, this opens up additional creative possibilities when creating high-quality content.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro features an OLED display and a powerful three-axis gimbal
In addition to the camera features, DJI continues to rely on the proven combination of a compact body and an integrated three-axis gimbal. This ensures stable video recording even while moving and has been one of the Pocket series’ greatest strengths for years.
The built-in OLED touchscreen measures 2 inches and reaches a brightness of up to 1,000 nits. This ensures the display remains easy to read even in direct sunlight. The resolution of 556 × 314 pixels matches that of the standard model.
For slow-motion footage, the camera supports 4K video at up to 240 frames per second. This allows fast movements to be captured with exceptional smoothness. With a capacity of 1,545 mAh, the battery offers the same capacity as the Osmo Pocket 4.
However, the additional telephoto lens affects the dimensions. Weighing 230 grams, the Pro version is about 20 percent heavier than the standard model and is also slightly taller. In everyday use, the camera remains significantly more compact than many mirrorless cameras or classic vlogging setups.
The models introduced so far are available in Classic Black and Pearl White. Sales are currently launching in China first, with a global market launch expected later this year.
