In the field of rugged outdoor smartphones, Doogee is undoubtedly one of the best-known manufacturers. Now, the company has presented its Doogee V30 as its latest product. This should not only be able to withstand drops and offer an enduring battery. On top of that, Doogee wants to put extra emphasis on the design and the SIM technology this time. A highlight besides the leather back is the integrated eSIM. The latter is not yet known from outdoor smartphones.
Finally, an outdoor smartphone with eSIM
It was not too long ago when manufacturers of classic flagship smartphones presented the so-called eSIM. Here you can save the sometimes fiddly insertion and removal of the SIM card without further ado. The Doogee V30 was primarily equipped with the electronic SIM card to make life easier for frequent travelers. After all, this eliminates the inconvenient purchase of new SIM cards at the travel destination. Instead, you just have to scan the QR code of the desired provider and you have secured the new rate.

Well-known robust design
While the implementation of the eSIM represents a step towards the future, Doogee is rather oriented to old virtues in the design. The manufacturer once again relies on the usual robust design. This will certainly not please friends of filigree shapes, the thinnest possible display edges and a low weight.
On the other hand, if you enjoy not having to worry about high repair costs every time your phone crashes, you’re in the right place. While the basic concept has remained the same, the company surprises with a visual highlight on the back of the device. Here is now a cover made of environmentally friendly leather.
Further technical features of the Doogee V30 still unknown
So far, Doogee has only been tempted to mention the two highlights in the form of eSIM and leather back. However, it is still uncertain what the rest of the technical equipment will look like. However, we can assume that we can expect technical specs of smartphones from the upper mid-range here as well. After all, this was also the case for the V20 and V10.
