Chinese technology manufacturer Dreame is expanding its range in Germany with its first own smart TV: the Aura Mini LED 4K TV S100. Dreame is best known for its vacuum and mopping robots and other household appliances; with the S100, the company is now venturing into the TV market and offering its new 4K mini LED series in Germany.
Quantum dot technology and 1,000 nits
The Dreame Aura Mini LED 4K TV S100 (official website) combines modern mini LED backlighting with quantum dot technology for improved color reproduction and high brightness of up to around 1,000 nits.
According to the manufacturer, this combination ensures brilliant images with vibrant colors and high contrast, which is particularly visible in HDR content. The common HDR formats such as HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG are supported.
Focus on picture quality, audio and gaming
In addition to picture quality, Dreame also focuses on a comprehensive sound experience: the S100 is equipped with an integrated soundbar with 4.1.2 channels and Dolby Atmos support, which delivers a total of around 70 watts of power. Several upward-facing speaker drivers are integrated to provide a broader sound backdrop.
The model is also interesting for gamers: the TV offers a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz as well as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), which ensures smooth gameplay. Google TV serves as the smart TV platform, giving users access to a wide range of streaming apps and services and functions such as Google Cast and AI assistants.
A 65-inch version of the S100 is currently listed on the manufacturer’s German product page. The market launch is planned for February 5, 2026; Dreame has announced that it will offer the TV with an attractive introductory discount of up to around 300 euros at the launch. The manufacturer has not yet provided any information on an official recommended retail price.
Dreame can do more than just vacuum robots
With the Aura Mini LED 4K TV S100, Dreame is taking its first step into the competitive environment of 4K smart TVs in Germany and signaling that the company wants to expand its product range beyond household appliances into entertainment electronics. It remains to be seen when exactly further model variants or higher-quality series such as the V3000 series will be available in Germany.
