New products from the traditional brand
In Singapore, the British traditional brand Dyson has pointed out to the public the upcoming products that will make the life of users easier. From a robot vacuum cleaner to an air purifier and a classic cordless vacuum cleaner, the whole range is represented. Let’s take a quick look at what’s new.
Dyson 360 Vis Nav robot vacuum cleaner
The first generation of the robot vacuum cleaner from the house of Dyson was not really well received by the community. Accordingly, the expert for household technology has sat down on the seat of its pants and wants to have made various improvements. Especially the sensors, the performance and the software have been improved. With modern processor technology and a total of 26 sensors, the robot vacuum cleaner is supposed to work very accurately. According to Dyson, the positioning should be accurate up to 71 mm.
The built-in sensors are not only for navigation. On top of that, special piezo sensors are supposed to be able to count and classify dust particles. For a good cleaning performance on hard and carpeted floors, the main brush should also provide. It protects your parquet with its fluffy nylon and removes dirt from carpets with the help of stiff nylon brushes. The dual-link suspension system sounds exciting. This is supposed to ensure that the robot vacuum can overcome obstacles up to a height of 21 mm. A low-profile design, in turn, allows it to clean furniture up to a height of 99 mm.

Dyson Air Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde
With the Big+Quiet Formaldehyde, the manufacturer offers a brand new air purifier. This is to be used in particular in larger rooms. According to Dyson, this is aimed at the commercial sector, which could be particularly exciting in retail or open-plan offices. A range of 10 meters is achieved by the new cone aerodynamics.
At the same time, the device does not have to run continuously. To prevent unnecessary power consumption, the CO² sensor should be able to let you know when you should ventilate. Thanks to its size, the device probably also works pleasantly quietly. Dyson specifies 56 dB as the operating volume. By connecting to the MyDyson app, you should be able to keep an eye on the air quality at all times during operation.

Dyson unveils first wet vacuum
Of course, no battery vacuum cleaner can be missing from a product presentation by Dyson. The Dyson Gen5 Detect gets the fifth generation of the Hyperdymium motor donated. This should not only ensure high suction power. On top of that, the vacuum has a special HEPA filter system, which is supposed to be able to catch 99.99 percent of particles down to 0.1 microns thanks to its sealed design. The 14 cyclones are said to work in such a way that there is hardly any loss of suction power.
With the help of the redesigned floor brush, Dyson not only wants to make it easier to pick up dust and other dirt. On top of that, the LED lighting has been improved in terms of brightness and range. A runtime of up to 70 minutes again speaks for a strong battery. It was probably only a matter of time before Dyson jumped on the success bandwagon of wet vacuums. This has now happened with the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine. Here, the manufacturer relies on a wet floor roller that is supposed to provide extensive cleaning of hard floors. The company claims to have meticulously ensured that the water is evenly distributed.
An eight-point humidification system is used for this purpose, which uses a pressure chamber to ensure that the entire roller is evenly moist. The 300 ml fresh water tank ensures that an area of up to 110 m² can be reliably cleaned. Of course, no self-cleaning function is missing here either. After the cleaning unit, the device can be cleaned in the charging station. The corresponding dirty water ends up in the waste water tank. The device’s low profile could outdo the competition. After all, the Achilles’ heel of many suction mops is that they do not fit under flat furniture so far.
