With the new EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic, EcoFlow is expanding its portfolio of mobile power solutions with a model that has been deliberately reduced to the essentials. The focus is on high output power, fast charging speed and uncomplicated operation.
The power station has a capacity of 1,024 Wh and delivers a nominal output power of 1,800 W. Up to 3,600 W is even possible for short periods. This means that several devices can be operated simultaneously – such as portable fridges, induction hobs, tools or coffee machines. The integrated EcoFlow X-Boost technology is used for appliances with particularly high energy requirements. It enables the operation of appliances with a power consumption of up to 2,400 W without the need for a significantly larger energy system.
The new power station is particularly interesting for scenarios in which reliable energy is required independently of the power grid. When camping or on longer road trips, it can supply devices in a motorhome or tent with power. The DELTA 3 Classic can also be used as a flexible power source for outdoor work or as an emergency power solution in the home.
The system is deliberately kept simple. In contrast to many high-end power stations, the model does not have any modular expansion batteries. Instead, EcoFlow focuses on a complete system that is ready for immediate use and can be used without additional components.
Fast charging and flexible energy management
A key feature of the new power station is its high charging speed. Thanks to the EcoFlow X-Stream fast charging technology, the DELTA 3 Classic can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 45 minutes using a standard socket. This is one of the faster charging times for mobile power devices in this power class.
In addition to classic mains charging, several alternative options are available:
- Solar energy via compatible solar panels
- Vehicle charging via the 12 V connection in the car
- Hybrid charging, in which various energy sources are combined
This means that the Powerstation can also be recharged relatively easily on the move or away from the infrastructure.
EcoFlow has opted for a compact design. With a weight of 12.1 kg and dimensions of 398 × 200 × 283 mm, the device is relatively easy to transport and stow in cars, vans or motorhomes. Despite its high output, the station is comparatively quiet: At loads of up to 600 W, the noise level remains below 30 dB, which is particularly pleasant when camping or in quiet environments.
Inside is a long-lasting LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, which is known for its high level of safety and long service life. Users can also conveniently monitor the charge status, energy consumption and system settings via the EcoFlow app.
