EcoFlow Smart Generator: Emergency power 2.0 available now

In 2022, an emergency power generator no longer has anything in common with the smelly and noisy diesel engine that some people have in mind when thinking about this topic. Instead, power stations are used today that rely on the latest battery technology and thus not only protect the environment, but also operate as quietly as a whisper. One of the best-known manufacturers in this field is EcoFlow. The company recently convinced us with its EcoFlow River 2 Max (test). But EcoFlow can also do things differently, which can now be seen in the market launch of the EcoFlow Smart Generator. This is a highly efficient and smart dual-fuel generator that is said to be able to provide five days of power.

EcoFlow Smart Generator provides power for five days

Although the emergency generator does not rely on battery technology, but instead uses either propane or gasoline, it is said to be able to operate ecologically. Thus, the company promises that the device shall have an amazingly low fuel consumption. Accordingly, emissions are also supposed to be pleasingly low. This also applies to the operating volume as the manufacturer confirms.

At the same time, the power generation is quite impressive. According to the manufacturer, up to 20 kWh should be possible. This should be able to cover the needs of an average family for five days. The timing of EcoFlow could hardly be better. After all, many people are currently afraid of impending power outages in the wake of the energy crisis.

Operation possible with either propane or gasoline

The fact that you can run the EcoFlow Smart Generator on both gasoline and propane not only provides flexibility. On top of that, it makes the emergency generator environmentally friendly. This makes the Smart Generator especially attractive to campers. After all, owners of a motor home, for example, usually have a propane cylinder with them as well. The manufacturer further emphasizes that the EcoFlow Smart Generator is compatible with the company’s power stations. For example, the emergency generator is said to take just 2.7 hours to fully charge the large-format EcoFlow DELTA PRO (test).

Price and availability of the EcoFlow Smart Generator

The attractive overall package is rounded off with smart protection mechanisms. These make it definitively clear that the EcoFlow Smart Generator no longer has anything to do with classic emergency generators. For example, the generator measures the composition of the air in the immediate vicinity to rule out the health risks of carbon monoxide. If the values rise, it switches off automatically.

On top of that, the device measures the level of gasoline and engine oil and, if necessary, indicates when the level is too low. To ensure that you get the most out of the generator for as long as possible, it also has a temperature control function. If it runs too hot, it cools down. If it is too cold, it warms up. This should increase the service life. Anyone interested in the EcoFlow Smart Generator can order now at an MSRP of 1,599.00 euros on the official website or Amazon.
