FokusJet technology: a new approach to dried-on stains
The Deebot X12 offers an exciting new feature compared to its predecessor, the Deebot X11 OmniCyclone(test | € 749.00 *) and relies on a new type of pre-treatment for dirty areas. The so-called FocusJet technology uses high-pressure water jets to specifically soften stubborn dirt such as dried-on kitchen or animal stains.
And all this before the actual mopping and vacuuming process begins. This should significantly increase cleaning performance and eliminate typical weaknesses of classic robots. Despite the advanced technology, the approach remains pragmatic and automated in everyday life; users do not have to intervene or start pre-treatments themselves.
OmniCyclone station: more automation, less effort
At the heart of the system is the OmniCyclone station, which automates several maintenance steps. In addition to automatic dust emptying via PureCyclone 2.0 technology, the station enables up to 48 days of use without the user having to intervene manually.
It also cleans the mop with heated water and can intelligently dispense cleaning agents. All in all, the device significantly reduces the amount of maintenance required – an important factor for households that want to spend as little time as possible on maintaining their smart gadgets.
Intelligent cleaning through AI, navigation and sensor technology
The robot combines advanced sensor technology with artificial intelligence: the integrated YIKO 2.0 agent analyzes the environment and usage habits to independently create and adapt cleaning plans, such as suction power, route guidance or water supply.
TruEdge 3.0 also ensures improved edge cleaning, while ZeroTangle 4.0 technology reduces hair knot formation on brushes. This combination should ensure efficient and thorough floor care without the user having to constantly optimize.
Features vs. competition
Compared to previous models and competitors, the X12 stands out with its extensive range of functions. From the intelligent station and AI-supported control to the targeted pre-treatment of stubborn dirt.
At the same time, operation remains intuitive despite the technical depth – for example via app integration or preset cleaning modes. According to initial tests, the appliance performs solidly, although the software and navigation still offer room for further development.
