Ecovacs Goat A series: Precision for larger areas
Back in January, we reported that Ecovacs was planning to expand its popular Goat series with new robotic mowers. The company wants to build on the success of the Ecovacs Goat G1 (Review | € 1,099.00 *). This revolutionized the robotic mower market at the time, as it can do without annoying perimeter wires thanks to LiDAR navigation and GPS connection. New models are now being launched in the form of the Goat A series and Goat O series.
The Goat A-Series from Ecovacs includes models such as the Goat A1600 RTK (official website), which is designed for lawns of up to 1,600 square meters. This model uses GPS RTK technology supported by 3D ToF-LiDAR and a camera unit to ensure precise navigation and obstacle detection. With a cutting width of 33 cm and the ability to mow edges down to 5 cm, the Goat A1600 RTK offers efficient mowing performance.
Ecovacs Goat O-Series: Compact solutions for smaller gardens
Ecovacs has developed the Goat O-series for smaller gardens. The Goat O1200 RTK is designed for areas up to 1,200 square meters and has an electrically height-adjustable mowing disc.
It also uses RTK technology for navigation. The Goat O800 RTK, on the other hand, is suitable for lawns of up to 800 square meters. Both models combine LiDAR-supported RTK navigation with a camera unit for precise mowing.
The Goat O500 Panorama does away with RTK and instead relies on a combination of LiDAR and a camera unit for navigation. This model is suitable for lawns of up to 500 square meters and requires clearly visible transitions between lawns and other areas.
