Eeve Willow X: Innovative garden robot with arms mows, weeds and harvests

With the Eeve Willow X, the manufacturer has introduced a futuristic garden robot that has two arms and a face. The friendly little helper is more than just a mowing robot and at the same time still able to weed and harvest vegetables.

Eeve Willow X unveiled

With its design, the Eeve Willow X could have sprung directly from the Pixar flick Wall-E, which the developer has presented there now. As an intelligent garden robot, the Willow X can do much more than just mow the lawn.

According to the announcement trailer, the robot is able to weed with its arms, sweep the patio with an add-on or free the lawn from small parts lying around, such as branches. The concept video shows how the Willow X puts the waste on the compost and even collects vegetables.

In short, the Eeve Willow X is said to be able to take on almost any task that comes up in the home garden. After the work is done, the robot independently returns to the charging station and gets ready for its next mission.

Further development of the Willow

The Eeve Willow X is a further development of the Willow, which the manufacturer plans to market as early as January 2023. It (or rather, according to the website, a it) became known as the Toadi. The product website states:

Even without robot experience, you can easily teach Willow to help you with repetitive or boring tasks. Maintains your garden, guards your property, sweeps your patio, transports goods, plays games or takes beautiful photos at parties in your home.

At the same time, the robot can be controlled with a computer or smartphone and is constantly learning new tasks, also thanks to AI functions. With the help of the StarLight application, you can assign different tasks to the robot. In addition, so-called StarLight beacons can be purchased or made in a 3D printer to make it even easier for Willow to learn tasks. These Starlights can be easily placed in places that deserve special attention.
