Voicemod effects integrated directly into Wave Link
The integration of Voicemod into Wave Link primarily changes the previous workflow of many creators. With the new integration, voice changers now run directly as VST effects within Wave Link. This makes the separate Voicemod app superfluous, while the effects remain fully usable. Alongside the integration of the Voice Changer, Elgato is also expanding the functions of its Stream Deck. Users can now install complete Voicemod soundboards directly via the Elgato Marketplace. These soundboards contain themed collections of sound effects and memes that can be triggered at the touch of a button during streams or gaming sessions.
To start with, the soundboards are primarily optimized for 15-button layouts of the Stream Deck. They are installed as ready-made profiles and are immediately ready for use without the need for any additional setup. Themes range from fantasy elements to typical sound effects from shooter games.
An important part of the integration is the close integration with Wave Link. There you can specify the output to which a soundboard is sent. For example, a sound can only be heard in the stream, while it remains hidden in the voice chat or on your own headphones. Separate volume controls per output are also possible.
Wave Link itself is now available free of charge for any microphone or audio interface. This means that users without Elgato hardware can also access the audio routing functions. Together with Stream Deck, this creates a flexible system for audio control and creative sound design.
