The professional gaming peripherals manufacturer has unveiled an exciting new gaming mouse, the Endgame Gear XM2w, which is said to feature a lightweight design, a 26,000 CPI sensor and durable Kalih switches.
The Endgame Gear XM2w Features
The Endgame Gear XM2w is a wireless gaming mouse that aims to serve even professional demands. The PAW3395 sensor from PixArt is tuned for maximum performance and does without unnecessary bells and whistles. The resolution can be adjusted in steps of 50 directly on the bottom of the mouse.
Fine adjustments between 50 CPI and up to 26,000 CPI are possible, which should provide impressive precision and speed. The resolution is combined with a polling rate of 1,000 Hz.
Inside the mouse, two STM32 ARM microcontrollers are working. The first 64MHz ARM Cortex-M4 handles the main tasks, while the second, a 32MHz ARM Cortex-M0, is solely responsible for the wireless connection, which is implemented around 2.4 GHz band to ensure low latency.
Kalih switches for a tactile click feel
The patented analog technology is also used again in this gaming mouse. It is said to provide a response time of all buttons of less than one millisecond. The two main buttons rely on precise and durable Kailh GM 8.0 switches, while Kailh GM 2.0 switches are used for the two side buttons installed on the left side.
In terms of ergonomics, the Endgame Gear XM2w is said to be suitable for all three common grip types and weighs a mere 63 grams despite wireless connectivity. The manufacturer does not provide details on the gaming mouse’s battery life, but the nager can still be used while charging with the included Endgame Gear Flex Cord 3.0 cable.
Also receiving an update are the mouse skates, which can be used in either a large or small version. The pre-assembled small skates can be easily exchanged for the large ones. There is also an additional skate for the middle, the use of which is especially recommended for soft surfaces.
