With the growing popularity of e-bikes, not only the sales figures are increasing. The number of available models is also growing steadily. Mountain bikes with support from an electric motor are also becoming increasingly popular. With the Eskute Netuno, another representative of the favor has now been presented. The mountain bike with electric drive not only wants to offer a range of a remarkable 100 km. On top of that, you can currently get it at a real fighting price of under 1,000 euros.
E-bikes are becoming cheaper
Competition in the field of e-bikes is in full swing. So manufacturers want to prevail not only with more and more power and range. On top of that, of course, the price also plays a major role. While pedal-assisted bikes cost several thousand euros a few years ago, prices have now fallen, in some cases significantly. Of course, the market is still populated with expensive models. But now you can get a powerful e-bike for as little as 1,000 euros or less. This is also the case with the Eskute Netuno. The mountain bike with electric motor is currently available for an exceedingly fair 999.00 euros.
Eskute Netuno is a mountain bike with a lot of power
With a torque of 45 Nm as well as a power of 250 watts, the Eskute Netuno wants to be able to compete against any mountain. For a mileage of up to 100 km, the integrated battery with a capacity of 522 Wh should provide. The 24.5 kg e-mountain bike is said to offer a load capacity of 125 kg.
Despite the low price for an e-bike, the manufacturer relies on high-quality components here. Thus, the installed derailleur comes from the renowned manufacturer Shimano, the installed motor from Bafang and the tires from Kenda. The rider has a total of seven gears at his disposal. What does not fit a mountain bike, however, is the lack of a damper. Here, the Eskute Netuno could reach its limits in very rough terrain.
The braking system, which is also of great importance on mountain bikes, relies on high-quality disc brakes. The option to use the built-in battery as a mobile power bank is practical. For example, you can connect and charge your smartphone via the USB port (Type C). Overview of parameters such as battery capacity and speed is available via a practical color display.

Eskute Netuno complies with StVZO
In the case of bicycles with electric motors, as a German user, you always have to ask yourself whether you are allowed to drive it on the road. According to the manufacturer, you should not have to worry about this with the Eskute Netuno. Thus, the manufacturer locks the pedal assistance at 25 km/h. The chic LED lighting should also comply with the legal requirements of the StVZO.
