Following the recall of the original, the eufy S2 is now back on the market in an updated form. With the new eufy HydroJet S2, ANKER subsidiary eufy is launching a particularly powerful vacuum and mopping robot onto the market. The model combines a high suction power of 30,000 Pascal with advanced mopping technology, intelligent AI navigation and a comprehensive cleaning station. In addition, eufy is focusing on a more pleasant cleaning experience with the S2, including fragrance and automated maintenance. The robot is available to pre-order now and is clearly aimed at users who want to minimize the effort involved in floor cleaning.

  • 30,000 Pascal suction power for carpets and hard floors
  • HydroJet 2.0 with self-cleaning mopping roller and 32 water nozzles
  • AI system detects obstacles and optimizes cleaning paths
  • 12-in-1 UniClean Station takes over cleaning and drying automatically

eufy HydroJet S2 relies on powerful cleaning and intelligent automation

The eufy HydroJet S2 is an old acquaintance. We were able to test the robot vacuum back in March 2026 and were impressed. However, the manufacturer had to recall the model. Now the household helper is back on the market.

With the HydroJet S2, eufy is expanding its smart home portfolio with a new high-end model for automatic floor care. The combination of high suction power and extensive mopping technology is particularly striking. With up to 30,000 Pascal, the S2 is one of the most powerful vacuum and mopping robots in eufy’s current portfolio, according to the manufacturer.

More Information

For carpets, the robot integrates the AeroTurbo Carpet Master 2.0 technology. This automatically adapts the cleaning to different carpet types and heights. Even high-pile carpets up to five centimetres high can be reliably detected and cleaned. The system is complemented by the DuoSpiral detangling brush, which is designed to pick up hair and animal hair more effectively and reduce tangles.

On hard floors, the HydroJet floor cleaning system 2.0 takes over the mopping function. Here, 32 water nozzles continuously supply the rotating mopping roller with fresh water. According to eufy, the system works with a wiping pressure of 15 Newtons and covers a cleaning width of 29 centimeters. Electrolyzed water is also used, which is said to reduce germs by up to 99.99 percent. In this way, eufy not only wants to remove dirt, but also enable more hygienic cleaning.

Navigation has also been significantly enhanced. The CleanMind AI system analyzes typical everyday situations, plans efficient cleaning routes and detects obstacles more precisely. An extendable side arm is also designed to ensure that corners and edges are also cleaned thoroughly.

12-in-1 UniClean Station reduces everyday maintenance work

In addition to the actual cleaning, the eufy HydroJet S2 focuses primarily on convenience. To this end, eufy has integrated the new 12-in-1 UniClean Station, which takes care of numerous maintenance tasks automatically. After cleaning, the dust container is emptied, the mop roller is cleaned and then dried. This is intended to reduce unpleasant odours and significantly minimize the amount of maintenance required.

In addition, eufy relies on maintenance-free filters which, according to the manufacturer, should guarantee a consistently high suction power over a longer period of time. This could make everyday life noticeably easier, especially in households with pets or a lot of dirt.

The positioning of the S2 as a premium model is also interesting. The extensive features, powerful cleaning performance and intelligent AI control clearly show that eufy wants to play in the high-end segment of robot hoovers and mops. At the same time, the appliance is aimed at users who want to automate as many cleaning processes as possible.

Pre-orders are already open until May 21, 2026, and early buyers will also receive a replacement brush set worth €79.99 free of charge.

Conclusion

The eufy HydroJet S2 combines high suction power, modern mopping technology and extensive automation in a premium robot vacuum. The intelligent AI navigation, the self-cleaning mopping roller and the comprehensive UniClean Station in particular could make everyday life much easier. The sales launch will coincide with ANKER Day on May 22, 2026, with a price tag of 1,499 euros.
