With the eufy Security Video Doorbell Dual, a new smart doorbell is now available. The new model features, among other things, two built-in cameras, offers AI functions and relies on innovative sensors.

At the heart of the smart doorbell eufy Security Video Doorbell Dual are the two cameras. A high-resolution 2K HDR lens with 160-degree wide-angle lens sits at the top, while a downward tilted Full HD lens sits below. In conjunction with pyroelectric (PIR) sensors and radar motion sensing, the cameras detect unknown visitors from a greater distance.

In the event of suspicious behavior, the smart doorbell can also sound an alarm if desired, which can be displayed directly on a smartphone or tablet via app connection. Thanks to artificial intelligence functions, false alarms are virtually impossible.

The Delivery Guard technology also keeps an eye on packages that have been dropped off, reminds you to pick them up promptly, and alerts you in the event of unauthorized access. All recordings from the eufy Security Video Doorbell Dual are also protected locally on the Eufy Homebase 2 with AES128 encryption. In addition, the Video Doorbell Dual recognizes the faces of family members and can be programmed to notify only when unknown visitors approach the house.

180 days runtime

Moreover, wind and weather cannot harm the smart doorbell. The Doorbell Dual, which is powered by a rechargeable battery, is also said to be protected against vandalism thanks to its special mounting system. With a runtime of up to 180 days, the doorbell also lasts a comparably long time.

With High Dynamic Range (HDR) visuals, even backlit visitors in the sun can be seen in perfect color and clarity. Other features include control using various voice assistants (Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa), two-way audio, and combined installation together with existing doorbells.

The doorbell measures 16.5 x 5.3 x 2.8 cm (height x width x depth) and weighs 1.24 kg. In combination with the Homebase, the total weight increases to 1.55 kg. At the same time, the Doorbell Dual is weatherproof according to IP65 standard and can be operated at temperatures from -20 °C to 50 °C.
