Revolution instead of evolution: new camera concept for more security
With the eufyCam S4, eufy is not simply introducing a further development, but a completely new security concept. While conventional surveillance systems usually choose between fixed and swivel cameras, the S4 combines both approaches in one compact device.
At the top is a 4K main camera with a 130-degree field of view, which provides a static overview in razor-sharp quality. Below it is a moving 2K PTZ camera that can rotate 360 degrees and tilt up to 70 degrees. With an eightfold zoom, it automatically tracks movements and intelligently zooms in on relevant details – such as faces or license plates.
The integrated AI tracking technology ensures precise tracking, even if there are several people in the frame. Thanks to auto-framing, all target objects remain in focus at the same time without the camera frantically switching between perspectives. In combination with the HomeBase 3, the recordings from several S4 cameras can be merged into a seamless multi-camera view – a practical feature that saves time and offers a seamless surveillance experience.

In terms of technology, eufy focuses on high reliability and sustainability with the S4. The integrated 10,000 mAh battery provides energy for days of continuous operation, while the supplied solar panel (5.5 watts) ensures continuous charging. One hour of sun per day is enough to keep the camera in 24/7 operation – ideal for outdoor areas without a mains connection.
The housing is also impressively robust: the eufyCam S4 is IP65-certified and therefore protected against rain, dust and frost. It remains reliable even in sub-zero temperatures or constant rain. The Starlight color night vision ensures a clear view at night, providing a true-color image of the surroundings even in low light conditions – a clear advantage over conventional infrared night vision.
