A leadership change appears to be on the horizon at Pro GamersWare, the Berlin-based company behind noblechairs, Endgame Gear, and Ducky. According to information from basic-tutorials.de, Daniel Raab—who will serve as CEO of meal-kit provider Marley Spoon until early June 2026—is taking over as CEO at Pro GamersWare. The current CEO, Philipp Rossner, is reportedly leaving the company. There has been no official confirmation from Pro GamersWare or Daniel Raab himself as of yet.
Who is Daniel Raab?
Raab is no stranger to the e-commerce scene. Before joining Marley Spoon, he was managing director at the fashion retailer fashionette, served on the executive board at the investment firm SevenVentures and the furniture retailer NCG Commerce, and was co-managing director at Avenso. In 2023, he joined Marley Spoon as COO, and shortly thereafter took over as CEO. The supervisory board was apparently satisfied: in 2025, his contract was extended through June 2029.
It didn’t quite last that long, however. According to an ad hoc announcement from Marley Spoon, Raab stepped down at the end of June 8, 2026, by mutual agreement with the supervisory board. Dr. Daniel Koch took over on an interim basis, while Marley Spoon simultaneously began the search for a permanent successor. What Raab did in the weeks that followed was not publicly known—until now.
Pro GamersWare: The Company Behind noblechairs and Endgame Gear
Pro GamersWare is best known in the gaming scene for its brands. Under the umbrella of the Pro Gamers Group, the Berlin-based company brings together its own brands—such as noblechairs and Endgame Gear —as well as Ducky, along with distribution partnerships for brands like Lian Li and Phanteks. According to Rossner, the group was formed through a “buy-and-build” strategy, in which individual companies—some of which have been in existence since the early 2000s—were brought together.
Rossner, who took over as CEO in 2023, described the model in an interview with Business Focus Magazine as follows: “We are the home of brands.” Whether and how this strategy will continue under Raab remains to be seen.
