Meanwhile all conceivable technology gadgets are equipped with RGB lighting. This turns the everyday object into a real eye-catcher. But the manufacturer Vivify is now taking it to the extreme. He launches the first HDMI cable with integrated RGB lighting.
RGB lighting makes everything better
It doesn’t matter whether it’s the computer mouse, the keyboard or the sound system. Meanwhile, PC components in rainbow colours have become indispensable in the gaming sector. For gamers who value optics above and beyond the average, Vivify is now launching the optimal product on the market. The upcoming HDMI cable ARQUUS W73 offers its own RGB lighting. This brings hardcore gamers who really want everything to shine in rainbow colours a little closer to their goal.
Good Specs
On paper, the performance of the ARQUUS W73 reads very well at least once. This is a Generation 2.0 HDMI cable, which can offer a bandwidth of 18 Gb/s. The W73 can be used in a wide range of applications. The buyer can choose between lengths of 2.7 m and 4.5 m and can rely on a manufacturer’s warranty of two years. A resolution of up to 4K at a refresh rate of 60 Hz is supported.
High quality components
The ARQUUS W73 is also convincing when it comes to the choice of materials used. For example, Vivify does not use classic copper for its HDMI cable, but instead relies on glass fibre. This offers a great advantage: signals can be transmitted at extremely high speed despite longer distances. However, fibre optic is also much more susceptible than classical copper.
Problem: Low color selection
When you buy a product with integrated RGB lighting, you are used to being able to choose from a wide range of available colours. But with the ARQUUS W73, you unfortunately have to say goodbye to this classic bandwidth. Here the user only has the choice between seven colours. So he can choose between red, blue, green, yellow, purple, orange and cyan.
A price for the European Gefilden is not yet evident. On the US market, the glowing cable has been launched for an RRP of USD 80. Whether the comparatively high price for RGB lighting is worth it is up to you.
