FRITZ!DECT 302: AVM releases new smart radiator controller

AVM launches the FRITZ!DECT 302, a new smart radiator controller. Connected to a FRITZ!Box, it automatically and precisely regulates the room temperature. Like its predecessor, the new model can be conveniently controlled via wireless pushbutton, smartphone, tablet, laptop or FRITZ!Fon.

FRITZ!DECT 302: Smart home controller presented

Like its now almost five-year-old predecessor 301, the new FRITZ!DECT 302 model again comes with an e-paper display with one menu and four function buttons, but relies on a new design. Thanks to an expanded energy concept with a new chip, a long battery life for several heating periods is guaranteed.

The FRITZ!DECT 302 uses the particularly energy-saving DECT ULE radio standard and can be mounted on all common radiator valves. Regular free updates provide new features. All the convenience functions of its predecessor are also included.

Several smart radiator controllers can be combined into a group for high comfort. In addition, an adaptive heating start can be defined to ensure the desired temperature at a previously set time.

Thanks to the integrated window-open detection, the smart radiator controller automatically regulates the temperature down for a desired period when the window is open. Cold rooms can be warmed up quickly if desired using the boost function. In addition, there is a frost protection function that regulates the temperature of the heating down at the touch of a button.

New comfort functions

The e-paper display of the FRITZ!DECT 302 can now also show the set weekly schedule and the course of temperatures within the room. The parental lock, which is activated directly on the device via a button combination, prevents unintentional adjustment.

In addition, if the battery of the smart radiator controller runs low or the connection to the router is interrupted, a push notification is automatically sent.
