gamescom 2022: MSI presents new peripherals – keyboard, mouse and headset

MSI peripheral news: Manufacturer MSI takes gamescom 2022 as an opportunity to introduce many new products. After the MSI Prestige 16 notebook a few days ago, you can expect more notebooks, routers, monitors and much more. Among them are new peripherals in the form of the MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC gaming keyboard, MSI CLUTCH GM31 series gaming mouse and the MSI IMMERSE GH40 ENC gaming headset.

MSI peripheral news for gamescom 2022

While MSI will not have its own booth at gamescom 2022, it is inviting media and partners to its nearby location at Lokschuppen in Cologne to showcase its latest gaming hardware developments. A keyboard, mouse and headset are among MSI’s peripheral innovations.

MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC Gaming Keyboard

The MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC mechanical gaming keyboard continues the Vigor series. After the low-profile GK50 LP TKL (our review) model, they now launch the new flagship mechanical keyboard for professional gamers. The keyboard with pudding keycaps is supposed to offer an unrivaled fast response time thanks to MSI Sonic Red technology.

The keyboard is primarily aimed at professionals. Together with Kailh, the keyboard has been equipped with the lightest switches in the world, which react almost immediately even with a light keystroke. The 35gf actuation force of the linear red switches along with MSI Sonic Red technology is supposed to provide additional comfort and prevent rapid finger fatigue.

You can also comfortably control multimedia content with your fingertips with the intelligent dual-touch volume control and integrated media control. At the same time, the keyboard is equipped with MSI ClearCaps, under whose transparent appearance the RGB lighting is particularly well accentuated. The included ergonomic wrist rest made of memory foam improves the ergonomics even more and can be placed freely.

MSI CLUTCH GM31 Series Gaming Mouse

To match, you can expect the new MSI CLUTCH GM31 series gaming mouse, which is available in both wired and wireless versions. Both are otherwise identical and rely on an ergonomic design.

MSI has used only lightweight materials in the production of the two variants, so that the CLUTCH does not exceed a weight of only 73 g. The efficient wireless technology allows for low latency at all times, ensuring a high-quality gaming experience. The wireless model also comes with the matching charging station directly included.

MSI IMMERSE GH40 ENC gaming headset

Also positioned between the GH30 V2 and the GH50 (our review) is the new MSI IMMERSE GH40 ENC gaming headset. It’s the manufacturer’s first headset to feature an ENC (Environmental Noise Cancelling) algorithm.

ENC ensures clear and distinct communication in almost all circumstances when it comes to the microphone. With 40mm neodymium drivers in a foldable and durable lightweight package, you can enjoy all games with immersive virtual 7.1 surround sound.

The MSI VIGOR GK71 SONIC gaming keyboard is available in stores now for an MSRP of 119.90 euros. Additional details can be found on the official product website. The manufacturer has not yet revealed prices for the MSI CLUTCH GM31 series gaming mouse and the MSI IMMERSE GH40 ENC gaming headset.
