Render images of the Google Pixel 11 have appeared for the first time. The images based on CAD data come from the well-known leaker @OnLeaks and were published via Android Headlines. Google’s next mid-range flagship comes with two visible design changes that make the device look noticeably more modern than its predecessor.

Google Pixel 11: Thinner edges and all-black camera module

The most noticeable change concerns the screen edges: these are significantly narrower on the Pixel 11 than on the Google Pixel 10, giving it a more modern look and allowing the 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display to take center stage – and with practically identical body dimensions.

The second change concerns the camera module on the back: instead of keeping the area around the LED flash in the same color as the Pixel 10, Google has opted for a continuous black surface for the entire camera bar on the Pixel 11. This gives the module a larger, more premium look. Google is sticking with the tried-and-tested horizontal camera bar with three lenses.

Hardly any changes to the dimensions

Apart from the visual refresh, almost everything remains the same. The Pixel 11 measures 152.8 × 72 × 8.5 mm – making the device just 0.1 mm thinner than the Pixel 10. The USB-C port is located on the bottom as usual, flanked by microphone and speaker openings. The volume rocker and lock button are still located on the right-hand side. The flat metal frame also remains.

Tensor G6 on a 2 nm basis as the centerpiece

Under the hood, the Tensor G6, codenamed “Malibu”, is likely to provide a significant leap in performance. The new chip is reportedly being manufactured on TSMC’s 2 nm process for the first time – a real generation change compared to the 3 nm Tensor G5 in the Pixel 10. Rumors point to a 7-core CPU with an ARM Cortex X930 Prime core at up to 4.11 GHz. For the modem, Google is expected to switch from Samsung to a MediaTek M90. The RAM is expected to remain at 12 GB, and the entry-level memory of 128 GB could also remain – although competitors such as Apple and Samsung already rely on 256 GB with the Galaxy S26 series.

Secure 3D facial recognition as a possible highlight

In addition to the visual changes, the Pixel 11 could also receive a tangible new function: According to earlier leaks, Google is planning secure 3D facial recognition in the style of Apple’s Face ID. The special feature: The technology should work without a wide pill-shaped cut-out in the display. Together with the new Titan M3 security chip (codenamed “Google Epic”), this could make the Pixel 11 one of the most secure Android smartphones on the market.

Market launch and price expectations

If Google remains true to its previous schedule, the Pixel 11 is likely to be launched in August 2026 together with the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The predecessor started at 799 US dollars in the USA. In view of rising component costs and the current storage crisis, it remains to be seen whether Google will maintain this price. However, fans can hope that Google will not increase the price too much, at least for the basic configuration – the competitive pressure from Samsung’s Galaxy series and Apple is high.
