Google has sent out official invitations to the Pixel 11 series launch event, offering the first official look at the Pixel 11 Pro’s design. The unveiling comes just a few hours after significantly higher prices for the entire series were leaked.
Date and First Design Preview
The event will take place at midnight on the night of August 12–13, Central European Time—an unusual time for the U.S., where comparable launch events typically take place in the morning. The Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro (XL), the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, and the Pixel Watch 5 are set to be unveiled.
The official teaser image already shows what is believed to be the Pixel 11 Pro. As previously leaked renders suggested, Google is sticking with its familiar design: a flat metal frame and a pill-shaped camera module that spans nearly the entire width of the device. There’s no sign yet of the previously rumored Pixel Glow RGB lighting in the teaser, but it could be hidden beneath the camera module’s black glass cover.
Significantly Higher Prices Expected
Shortly before the official invitation was sent out, a leak had already revealed the European prices for the entire Pixel 11 family. According to the leak, Google is discontinuing the previous 128-GB base model without replacement, meaning that even the most affordable Pixel 11 will start at 999 euros in the future. The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to cost at least 1,199 euros, the Pixel 11 Pro XL 1,399 euros, and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold a whopping 1,999 euros.

Pixel Watch 5 Also on the Way
