Google Pixel Buds Pro come with ANC, 3D audio and smart features

Google also introduced new TWS in-ear headphones at the I/O developer conference. The new Google Pixel Buds Pro come with numerous improvements, including active noise cancellation (ANC), 3D audio, Google Assistant and multipoint connectivity.

Google Pixel Buds Pro: All the details about the true-wireless headphones

With the Google Pixel Buds Pro, the manufacturer introduced its most powerful True Wireless headphones to date. One of the most important innovations is an ANC function that is supposed to effectively analyze and block out external noise with the help of the built-in 6-core processor and Silent Seal technology. Of course, there is also a corresponding transparency mode that additionally amplifies ambient noise and voices.

In addition, the Google Assistant will be available as a smart companion directly via the Buds Pro. It allows voice control and provides information about the current weather and news, enables navigation and can even translate live.

Thanks to Multipoint, the Google Pixel Buds Pro can connect to two devices at once and intelligently switch between sources. As for the microphones, a bone-sound sensor and multiple external microphones are said to reduce ambient and wind noise, ensuring clear intelligibility at all times.

3D audio and battery life

Via firmware update, the Google Pixel Buds Pro should then also enable 3D sound by the end of 2022, which is, however, still missing at release. Further details about the sound are missing so far, however. Google reveals on the product website that it is supposed to be a specially developed 11 mm speaker driver. The sound can be fine-tuned with the help of a 5-band equalizer.

In terms of battery life, around 31 hours are promised in combination with the charging case, which is divided into 11 hours of movie and music playback and another 20 hours in the case. The charging case can also be powered wirelessly in the Qi standard.

The flexible ear inserts are supposed to adapt to your ear shape and always ensure a comfortable wearing experience. Sensors also measure pressure in the ear canal, which can be relieved by the Bud Pro to improve daytime comfort.
