Honor 60 & Honor 60 Pro: All info on the new mid-range smartphones

After the separation from Huawei, the former subsidiary Honor dared to make a comeback with the Honor 50 (our review). Now, the company already presented the successors with the Honor 60 & Honor 60 Pro, which want to mix up the smartphone mid-range with a 120 Hz display and strong cameras.

Honor 60 & Honor 60 Pro: All details about the smartphones

The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro succeed the Honor 50. In terms of design, the two new smartphones are strongly reminiscent of the direct predecessor. The Honor 60 even uses the same SoC with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, while the Pro model gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ with higher clock rates (2.5 GHz instead of 2.4 GHz).

However, there are also some exciting innovations. The 60 series relies on AMOLED displays with a frame rate of 120 Hz that can display the entire DCI-P3 color space. The manufacturer installs a flat display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels in the Honor 60.

The Honor 60 Pro, on the other hand, has a 6.78-inch display that is curved at the sides and has a resolution of 2,652 x 1,200 pixels. Both smartphones share the 4,800 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with up to 66 watts. Thus, both Honor devices can be charged to 50 percent in just 15 minutes on the power.

The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro also differ from each other when it comes to the camera setup. The normal model offers a 32-megapixel front camera, while the Pro even has 50 megapixels.

On the back, both variants offer a 108-megapixel main camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and a 1/1.52-inch sensor. In addition, there is a 2 MP macro lens.

An ultra-wide-angle camera rounds off the triple-cam setup of the Honor models. In the case of the Honor 60, it has 8 megapixels, whereas the Honor 60 Pro is equipped with a 50 MP sensor. Exciting: The camera of both Honor smartphones can also be operated using gestures.
