Technical features and functions of Hookii Neomow X
Even if you can’t tell from the wintry temperatures, spring is already in the starting blocks. It is therefore not surprising that many new robotic lawn mowers are currently being introduced. Ecovacs is one of them with the Goat A (€ 1,499.00 *) and the Goat O (€ 999.00 *). The new Mammotion Yuka (€ 1,699.00 *) and Gardena Smart Sileno free (Price not available *) are also now available in stores.
Now there are new models from Hookii. The Hookii Neomow X series is characterized by the absence of boundary wires. Instead, the robotic mowers combine 3D LiDAR technology with a Vision Fusion System consisting of laser and camera sensors. This combination enables the devices to capture their surroundings in detail, navigate systematically and dynamically detect and avoid even the smallest obstacles. An RTK base station or other external navigation aids are not required, which considerably simplifies installation.
The robotic lawnmowers have a floating mowing disc with five blades that offers a cutting width of 28 cm. The cutting height can be flexibly adjusted between 30 and 85 mm so that different lawn types and heights can be taken into account. Thanks to a gradient capability of up to 45% (corresponding to 24 degrees), the devices are also suitable for uneven terrain. A user-friendly app allows users to choose between four different mowing modes and monitor the mowing process in real time.
