The new HP Envy 17.3 is a classic notebook that features Intel Alder Lake P processors and large 4K displays in the latest hardware refresh.

In contrast to the new convertibles from HP, the new refresh of the HP Envy 17.3 is a classic notebook. Partly due to the large 17.3-inch display, the laptop weighs just under 2.5 kg and turns out quite large with dimensions of 398.2 mm x 259.1 mm.
Keyword display: There is a choice between a 4K screen (3840 x 2160 pixels), which comes along with a brightness of 400 nits and fully covers the DCI-P3 color space, as well as two Full HD variants with a maximum of 300 nits with and without touchscreen.
The Envy is equipped with an Intel Core i5-1240P or Intel Core i7-1260P, as well as an i5-1235U or i7-1255U and can be equipped with 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB DDR4 RAM including a clock rate of 3200 MHz in dual-channel mode. The built-in NVMe M.2 SSD is optionally 512 GB or 1 TB in size.
On the other hand, the HP ENVY Laptop 17t-cr000 relies exclusively on the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics unit for graphics rendering. The battery capacity is 55 watt hours. Otherwise, an HP True Vision 5MP IR camera with privacy shutter and either MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 or Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211, both including Bluetooth 5.2, are offered.
In terms of ports, there are two times USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, three times USB Type-A with up to 10 Gbit/s, HDMI 2.1, 3.5 mm jack and an SD card reader.
Price and Availability
The HP Envy 17.3 laptop can be ordered in the U.S. now directly from HP. The entry-level price is $1,099.99, while the top model with a 4K display, 32 GB RAM and i7-1255U comes in at a whopping $1,969.99. It is currently unclear when the notebook will be available in Germany. In the US, the delivery will start on June 20.
