The new HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series clearly focuses on personalized health data and smart everyday functions. Instead of just counting steps, it comprehensively analyzes physical processes and provides concrete insights for training, recovery and well-being. With advanced sensors, smart software and a high-quality design, the series is positioning itself as a serious companion in the wearable market.

  • Advanced health functions such as ECG, HRV and atrial fibrillation detection
  • Integration of cycle tracking with Clue app and temperature sensor
  • Mini-workouts and smart training modes including navigation and power meter
  • Contactless payment via Curve Pay and long battery life of up to 10 days

HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series: Health data on a new level

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series stands out from traditional fitness trackers thanks to its comprehensive health functions. In addition to established measurements such as heart rate or sleep tracking, the device also integrates advanced analyses such as ECG, heart rate variability (HRV) and atrial fibrillation detection. This is complemented by the measurement of arterial stiffness, which can provide information on vascular health – a feature that was previously reserved for medical devices.

There is a particular focus on the area of female wellbeing. The smartwatch uses an integrated temperature sensor to continuously record changes in skin temperature, enabling more accurate predictions of cycle phases. In combination with the Clue app, a data-based system is created that presents biological correlations in an understandable way and makes long-term patterns visible. Automatic synchronization ensures that health data can be evaluated centrally without any additional effort in everyday life.

The strength of the watch is also evident in sleep tracking: the combination of different sensors allows recovery phases to be analyzed more precisely. This data flows directly into training suggestions, creating a holistic approach that takes activity and regeneration into account in equal measure.

Smart training features and powerful technology in everyday life

In addition to health analysis, the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series scores with versatile training functions. The new mini-workout mode is aimed at users who prefer short, flexible units. Supported by an animated panda coach, movement stimuli are conveyed in a playful way, which ensures more activity, especially in everyday life.

The Pro version offers significantly more advanced features for more ambitious users: These include automatic recognition of bike tours, a virtual power meter for performance analysis and a trail run mode with navigation function and altitude profiles. Golfers also benefit from access to over 17,000 golf course maps worldwide – a clear indication that Huawei is specifically targeting different sports segments.

Technically, the series impresses with a revised display. While the standard version offers a 1.82-inch panel, the Pro version comes with a 1.92-inch sapphire glass display and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. This means that the display remains easy to read even in direct sunlight.

In everyday life, Curve Pay significantly expands the functionality of the smartwatch. Contactless payment directly from the wrist works without additional devices and offers flexible payment management with the “Go Back in Time” function. Security features such as automatic locking when the watch is removed additionally increase the protection of sensitive data.

Conclusion: Versatile smartwatch with a strong focus on health

The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series combines comprehensive health analysis with practical everyday functions and a modern design. The integration of medical-looking data and close integration with apps such as Clue in particular set the smartwatch apart from many competitor models. With prices starting at 199 euros for the standard version and 299 euros for the Pro version, Huawei offers a solid overall package that will be available from May 7, 2026.
