HyperX, the gaming division of HP Inc., really let it rip at CES 2022 and introduced six new products. Among them, the Cloud Alpha wireless headset or the new HyperX Clutch wireless gaming controller, with which they want to penetrate more strongly into the market of wireless gaming peripherals.
HyperX CES 2022 Innovations: Focus on wireless peripherals
Among the new products, for example, are the HyperX Cloud Alpha wireless headset with up to 300 hours of battery life, the HyperX Clutch wireless gaming controller and the Pulsefire Haste wireless gaming mouse. In addition to the wireless products, HyperX will also show the new Alloy Origins 65 keyboard with HyperX Red or Aqua mechanical switches, the Cloud II gaming headset in a new white and pink design, and the Cloud Core headset with DTS Headphone:X audio.
HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset
The Cloud Alpha Wireless offers the longest battery life of any wireless gaming headset on the market at up to 300 hours, according to the manufacturer. Thanks to DTS Headphone:X, a particularly immersive audio experience is also achieved.
In doing so, the headset utilizes a new and improved custom-designed dual-chamber technology and HyperX 50mm drivers that allow for a slimmer, lighter design while maintaining the sound and performance of the original wired version. The Cloud Alpha Wireless also focuses on high comfort.
It features soft, supple faux leather and extra-soft memory foam, as well as a sturdy aluminum frame for long-lasting durability and stability. In addition, the headset features a detachable noise-canceling microphone, LED status indicator and integrated audio controls on the ear cup.
HyperX Clutch Wireless Gaming Controller
The HyperX Clutch wireless controller impresses with a familiar controller layout reminiscent of he Xbox family of console gamepads. It is equipped with comfortable, textured controller grips. Additionally, it offers wireless support for Android mobile devices via Bluetooth 4.2 or a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver.
A USB-C to USB-A cable is included for wired connection to the PC or charging of the gamepad. The Clutch wireless controller also features a removable and adjustable phone clip that expands from 41mm to 86mm. The integrated battery is said to be able to last up to 19 hours on a single charge.
HyperX Pulsefire Haste Wireless Gaming Mouse
The Pulsefire Haste wireless gaming mouse relies on a particularly lightweight case covered by hexagonal honeycombs. This is said to allow not only fast movements, but also ene better ventilation.
The mouse uses “gaming-grade wireless technology” and thus offers particularly low latency. In addition, the reliable 2.4 GHz wireless network is also used. The nager becomes a continuous runner due to its battery life, which is said to be an outstanding 100 hours on a single charge.
Thanks to six programmable buttons with built-in memory and dustproof TTC Golden Micro switches, the mouse is rated for up to 80 million clicks. The mouse is also dust-resistant and has an IP55 rating.
Other features of the Pulsefire Haste include low-friction skates made of pure PTFE, which are supposed to provide high gliding properties on all surfaces. Included with the mouse are grip tape for both sides of the mouse, as well as for the left and right mouse buttons, and a spare set of PTFE skates. The mouse is customizable with HyperX NGENUITY software, allowing you to personalize DPI settings, RGB lighting and button assignments, and record macros.
HyperX Alloy Origins 65 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
The popular Alloy Origins keyboard is getting smaller and after the 60-key model now comes in a 65-key layout, with extra arrow keys, distance, side-up and side-down keys. This maximizes functionality and desktop space for more precise mouse movements.
The keyboard’s HyperX mechanical switches are built for performance and durability, boasting a lifespan of 80 million clicks per switch. In addition, the keyboard features RGB-lit keys with an exposed LED design for brighter illumination with radiant lighting effects and five adjustable brightness levels.
The Alloy Origins 65 also uses high-quality double-shot PBT keycaps with secondary key functions for long-term use and durability. Again, there are many settings available in the companion HyperX NGENUITY software. Among them, a lighting adjustment, a gaming mode, and macro settings. Up to three profiles can be stored in the onboard memory. The keyboard is available with HyperX Red linear switches or HyperX Aqua tactile switches
HyperX Cloud II Pink Gaming Headset
The almost legendary Cloud II now comes in white and pink. It uses a special audio control box that offers virtual 7.1 surround sound. Moreover, the headset is equipped with HyperX’s signature memory foam, high-quality faux leather, and a sturdy aluminum frame to ensure durability, stability, and ultimate comfort for long gaming sessions.
The audio control box provides virtual 7.1 surround sound with independent volume control for audio and microphone. Gamers can easily activate the virtual 7.1 surround sound with the touch of a button. The headset uses specially tuned 53mm drivers that deliver rich, immersive sound with clarity and precision.
The Cloud II is also compatible with multiple devices and features a detachable noise-canceling microphone for clearer voice quality, gaming sound and less background noise.
HyperX Cloud Core DTS Gaming Headset
The Cloud Core delivers an immersive in-game sound experience with DTS Headphone:X and precise 3D audio spatial sound reproduction. The headset features a durable aluminum frame and adjustable headband to ensure longevity. The special memory foam and soft faux leather make it comfortable to wear. The headset includes a flexible, detachable noise-canceling microphone that is certified for Discord and TeamSpeak.

All of the new products that HyperX presented at CES 2022 will still be released in the first quarter of 2022. Specifically, the manufacturer lists the following prices and availability:
