Normally, the company iBUYPOWER offers an extensive portfolio of high-quality, pre-configured PC systems. With the new subsidiary HYTE, they are now entering the highly competitive market of PC components and accessories and presented the Revolt 3, a chic SFF PC case, as a prelude.
Facetted, despite small dimensions
The manufacturer’s new mini-ITX PC case was unveiled back at CES 2021 and was developed with input from PC enthusiasts, gamers and creatives. It relies on a vertical design and comes in an 18.4-liter small form factor (SFF), thanks to which the HYTE Revolt 3 fits comfortably on the desk.
With external dimensions of 253 x 178 x 409 mm, the Revolt 3 supports most NVIDIDA RTX 30 series graphics cards mounted vertically behind the front bezel. The unique internal layout of the SFF case allows graphics card installation without the use of a riser cable. In addition, the flip-out radiator mount supports All-in-One (AIO) water cooling systems with up to 280mm radiators.
Conveniently, all of the HYTE Revolt 3’s external side panels are removable to allow 360-degree access to components and simplify future upgrades. An integrated aluminum carrying handle sits flush with the case and flips open with a gentle push, while accessory holders pop out on either side of the case for easy desktop cable management and simplified workspace.
Various configurations
The Revolt 3 will be available with black and white outer cases, with a black metal grille behind the front panel acting as a counterpart. Choices include the case-only option as well as a combination with a 700W 80 Plus Gold SFX-L power supply with pre-routed cables.
Those who quickly decide on the new SFF case can also look forward to a gift. HYTE will provide a total of 200 Special Edition Revolt 3 cases with flight case at no additional cost to the first buyers who order a Revolt 3 and PSU combination from Hyte.com in North America.
The Special Edition Revolt 3 with Flight Case includes an additional copper metal “mesh” front panel for an extra mix of colors and an external flight case for even easier transport. There is also a plaque on the outside of the flight case indicating the production number.
iBUYPOWER also offers two RDY systems featuring the HYTE Revolt 3 and the latest 11th generation Intel Core processors. The Revolt 3 i7BG for enthusiasts relies on a Core i7 11700KF CPU, GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, Z590 motherboard, 16 GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM with addressable RGB (ARGB) lighting, 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and a 240 mm ARGB AIO cooling.
The Revolt 3 i9BG is even more powerful. Here you install the Intel Core i9 11900KF CPU, a GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card, a Z590 motherboard, 32 GB of 3200 MHz ARGB DDR4 RAM, a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and a 240 mm ARGB AIO.
Prices and Availability
While the case including configurations is already available in the US, we still have to be patient a bit in this country. The Revolt 3 and Revolt 3 + PSU bundle are expected to be available in Q4 2021 at an MSRP of €129 and €249 respectively. Systems with the Revolt 3 are available now. Prices vary widely, starting at an MSRP of 1,569.00 euros with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU.
