IFA 2022: Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro charges blazing fast

When it comes to self-sufficient power supply in the outdoor area, Jackery is undoubtedly one of the most popular suppliers of suitable devices. With the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro, the company now has a new power supplier in its portfolio that harnesses solar energy – and does so even faster than the already good standard model.

New flagship for self-suppliers

There are a few surprises to admire at this year’s IFA. For example, TP-Link has unveiled new smart home and networking solutions. But modern technology does not necessarily have to be related to one’s own four walls. Thus, especially in the wake of rising energy prices, solutions for a self-sufficient power supply are becoming more and more interesting. Even Anker offers suitable solutions with its powerhouses, which are also represented at this year’s IFA. Unlike Anker, however, Jackery is not a new player in this segment.

The company has already been offering exciting devices used in independent power production for ten years. So it’s hardly surprising that the manufacturer has now become the world’s best-selling brand of outdoor solar generators. With its Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro, the company is now launching its latest flagship product. In keeping with its name, this is intended to be an uncompromising further development of the standard version. Especially in terms of speed, the Pro model is to set new standards.

The charging speed sounds impressive

Looking at the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro, it becomes clear that this is a multi-part system. At the heart of it all is the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro – a powerful power station. This is fully charged in just 1.8 hours thanks to the included four SolarSaga 200W solar panels.

This is made possible not only an input power of 800 watts. Jackery also wants to have improved the charging technology. If the sun should not shine once or you have forgotten the panels at home, the power station but can also be charged classically via power plug. Here, too, 1.8 hours should suffice for a complete charge.

Compact design and freedom of choice for solar panels

The fact that the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro is particularly suitable for outdoor excursions is already clear from its design. Subtleties like the foldable carrying handle as well as a weight of 11.5 kg make it the perfect companion for camping or other outdoor adventures. Safety also plays a major role. Jackery relies on the so-called BMS system, which is similar to the safety standards of electric cars. A steady output of power as well as an intelligent temperature control not only protect the user, but also the power station itself from any damage. Since the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro is designed primarily for outdoor use, the manufacturer spends a Level 9 design of shock resistance.

So here you don’t have to worry even when driving over rough terrain. By the way, the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro is available in different versions – at least as far as the enclosed panels are concerned. Apart from the four SolarSaga 200W, you can also opt for the two new SolarSaga 80W. These may offer less power, but they are equipped with a completely new technology. Here, both the front and the back can absorb solar energy. This results in a much higher charging efficiency. Of course, the panels are protected against damage from dust and water according to the IP68 standard.

Price and Availability

With the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 Pro, the experts for outdoor energy supply have a real highlight for all outdoor and camping fans in the pipeline. Anyone interested in the power station including solar panels can pre-order the bundle now on Amazon or the Jackery website. The MSRP differs greatly depending on the type of panel that is included. The version with four SolarSaga 200W is expected to cost 3,899.00 euros, while the one with two SolarSaga 80W will cost 1,699.00 euros.
