IFA 2022: Smart toaster Tineco Toasty One introduced

Tineco is generally considered to be an expert in the production of suction mops, vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners. The manufacturer has already proven this in our test series with really good devices like the Tineco Floor One S3 (test) or the Floor One S5 (test). At this year’s IFA, it was therefore no surprise to once again see upcominghousehold highlights like the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro. But the company is apparently taking a broader stance and now wants to play a role in the kitchen as well. This is to be made possible by the Tineco Toasty One, which could also be admired at the Funkausstellung.

An intelligent toaster

The trend of smart home is spreading more and more. Thus, more and more devices of our everyday life become smarter and thus increase the home comfort. However, few will probably think of a toaster when asked the question of which household appliance should become smart. Tineco seems to think otherwise. The Tineco Toasty One is a smart toaster that comes with a cool touchscreen. Its classic double-slot design has room for a total of two loaves of bread. What makes the toaster so smart is first and foremost its ability to toast the two slices of bread to different degrees.

It should be possible to make the corresponding settings for this conveniently on the 4-inch touchscreen. To ensure perfect results, Tineco wants to have created the best conditions with its two technologies GoldenCrispy and IntelliHeat. The algorithm called IntelliHeat is supposed to always keep an eye on the bread in the Tineco Toasty One and know during the roasting process which level is the right one and when to stop roasting. Golden Crispy, on the other hand, is supposed to ensure that the bread slice is always exactly as specified. Classic toaster gimmicks, such as a crumb tray, make using the device easier in an analog way.

Price and Availability

Of course, the usefulness of the Tineco Toasty One is debatable. But surely this device will also find its buyers. The smart toaster is expected to be available for purchase at the end of September at an MSRP of $339 on Tineco’s website and Amazon.
