Speediance has unveiled two new generations of its smart home gym platform: the Gym Monster 3/3S and the Gym Monster Ultra. Both devices will make their debut at IFA 2026 in Berlin, where they will be on display in Hall 12, Booth 121. While the Gym Monster 3/3S is aimed at a broad audience seeking a versatile, customizable home gym, the Gym Monster Ultra is designed for ambitious athletes and professional training environments. Speediance most recently made a splash with the Gym Monster 2 at IFA 2025.
Gym Monster 3/3S: More Cable Positions, More Stability
According to the manufacturer, the Gym Monster 3 offers up to 100 kilograms of digital resistance, while the Gym Monster 3S delivers up to 120 kilograms (260 lb). Adjustments are made in increments of 500 grams. A new feature is 19 cable positions on a refined 7.5-centimeter grid, which is designed to allow pull angles to be adjusted more precisely for different exercises and body sizes.
Speediance has also improved the mechanics: Reinforced welded seams and a sturdier arm structure are designed to keep the system running more smoothly even under heavier loads, without requiring wall mounting or drilling. Features include a 23.8-inch WQHD display, 20-watt surround sound, and lighting that reacts to your workout.
It also features voice control, an Assist mode, a Partner mode for training together, and four resistance modes (Standard, Eccentric, Chain, and Fixed Speed). Also new to the lineup is a Pilates accessory package featuring loops, straps, platform extensions, and a workout mat. Despite its wide range of features, the machine remains compact: when unfolded, it takes up about 0.84 square meters, and when folded, about 0.26 square meters.
Gym Monster Ultra: Pull-up Bar and Larger Footprint for Advanced Users
The Gym Monster Ultra clearly positions Speediance above the 3 Series and is aimed at advanced athletes, trainers, and professional settings. At its core is an integrated multi-grip pull-up bar combined with a vertical lat pull-down and an adjustable thigh support. The 2.27-meter-high frame offers 33 cable positions, a fixed position for the vertical overhead pull, and lower cable pulls that follow the direction of movement, designed to facilitate rowing, pulling, and rotational exercises.
The Ultra model also features a maximum digital resistance of 120 kilograms. The workout area has been expanded by approximately 64 percent compared to the previous generation, to 0.88 square meters, which, according to Speediance, is designed to provide greater freedom of movement during squats, lunges, and split-stance exercises. When folded, the Gym Monster Ultra has a footprint of about 0.59 square meters; when fully extended with the lat pull-down arms, it covers up to 2.08 square meters.
Both devices share features such as the 24/7 AI coach, which is designed to create workout plans and guide exercise execution, as well as safety features like the detection of strength imbalances and automatic resistance shutdown if the cable is retracting too quickly.
