UWANT, already one of China’s largest providers of smart cleaning devices, is getting serious about expanding into Europe. At IFA 2026 in Berlin (September 4–8), the brand—founded in 2020—will unveil its new Swift series and two new flagship models for the first time, accompanied by a large-scale market launch in more than 15 European countries.
From an insider’s tip to a global player
UWANT was founded in Suzhou, China, in 2020 and has since evolved from a challenger to one of the leading providers of smart cleaning technology. The numbers speak for themselves: over 15 million units sold worldwide, including more than 7 million dust mite vacuums, and revenue of over 500 million euros in 2025. In its home market of China, UWANT ranks fourth among cleaning appliance manufacturers; in several subcategories—such as dust mite vacuums or wet/dry vacuums with push-in stations—the brand is even the market leader.
This is made possible by a formidable industrial base: More than 30 percent of employees work in research and development, and over 10 percent of annual revenue is invested in innovation. Production takes place on a 250,000-square-meter site with a capacity of more than 30 million units per year.
European Strategy: More Than Just a New Sales Market
Until now, UWANT has had virtually no presence in this region. That is set to change—not only with new products, but with a complete local infrastructure. In six countries, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Hungary, the brand is establishing its own teams, offices, warehouses, and after-sales service. Customer support is provided in the respective local language.
UWANT has also responded to European needs on the product side: With the ShakeSweep brush, the company has developed a brush-roller-free solution to the annoying problem of long hair getting tangled—an issue familiar to many households that use traditional brush rollers. Over the next three to six months, UWANT plans to launch its flagship Swift series in Europe and significantly expand its investments in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
New Products at IFA 2026
At a booth spanning more than 200 square meters in Hall 9 (Booth 103), UWANT will showcase its complete product lineup from September 4 to 8 across six interactive zones—ranging from wet and dry vacuums to cordless stick vacuums and spot cleaners. The spotlight will be on two European premieres:
- SwiftWash N600 – wet and dry vacuum cleaner from the new Swift series
- SwiftVac V700 Pro – cordless, self-emptying stick vacuum
In addition, UWANT will present two more flagship models: the DX800 Steam, featuring 160 °C hot steam, 80 °C hot water cleaning, a slim body just 9.8 cm thick, and a 180° tilt angle for hard-to-reach areas, as well as the V800, which combines the ShakeSweep™ brush with a dual-scraper emptying system that automatically cleans the filters with every emptying cycle.
Conclusion
UWANT isn’t making a quiet entrance in Europe: With a comprehensive sales and service infrastructure across six countries, a product lineup specifically refined for European households, and a major presence at IFA, the brand aims to evolve from an insider’s tip to a serious player in the smart cleaning segment. In our upcoming hands-on tests, we’ll show you whether the SwiftWash N600, SwiftVac V700 Pro, DX800 Steam, and V800 can live up to what their specs promise.
