Anyone attending Gamescom 2026 in Cologne will have a hard time missing iiyama: In Hall 10.1, Booth A078, the monitor manufacturer has set up a full-scale gaming playground. The highlight is two new G-Master monitors that visitors can try out ahead of the official market launch in September, along with an XXL-sized sim-racing zone, daily esports tournaments, and a chance to win a monitor twice a day.

49 inches, fully curved: Sim racing in XXL format

Get in and hit the gas: In the sim racing zone, visitors can try out the G-Master GCB4986DQSNP-B1 before it officially hits the market. The 49-inch monitor features an extra-wide panoramic format with a 1000R curve, drawing players right into the racing action. Under the hood, it features a VA panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate, plus a USB hub and 90-watt Power Delivery—handy for laptops connected to a headset setup.

Combined with professional racing hardware from Thrustmaster, this creates a setup that makes virtual racetracks feel significantly more immersive than a classic 27-inch monitor. According to iiyama, the monitor is expected to be available starting in September 2026 for around 800 euros.

Those who’d rather jump right into the next match will find two free-to-play zones at the booth featuring the new G-Master OLED GOB2701QSC-B1 “Titan Falcon.” It uses a fourth-generation META3 OLED panel, has a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, supports up to 280 Hz, and, according to the spec sheet, has a response time of 0.03 milliseconds. For HDR content, iiyama specifies a peak brightness of 1,500 cd/m². This model is also scheduled to launch in September 2026, with an expected price of around 500 euros.

From Visitor to Tournament Champion

Just watching? It doesn’t have to be that way. Throughout Gamescom, visitors can compete against each other at the iiyama booth. The tournament lineup includes League of Legends, Rocket League, Fall Guys, Overwatch, F1 25, and EA Sports FC 26. iiyama and its partners have put together prize packages for the winners.

Even outside of the tournaments, a visit is well worth it: Twice a day, iiyama will raffle off a G-Master GB2791QSU-B1 “Gold Phoenix,” a 27-inch monitor with a Fast-IPS panel, QHD resolution, and a 320 Hz refresh rate. This means there are multiple chances to win a free hardware upgrade every day of the expo, regardless of whether you participate in the tournaments.

A Booth Built for Gaming

To turn individual monitors into complete gaming setups, iiyama is teaming up with well-known names in the industry. Cybertek is equipping the test stations with gaming PCs built around Founders Edition Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards. The systems feature an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D, an Asus Prime B850 Plus WiFi motherboard, 32 GB of DDR5-6000 RAM (2 × 16 GB, CL30), a 1-TB NVMe Gen4 SSD, a 360-mm ARGB AIO cooler, a 1,300-watt power supply, and a Phantom Z Noir case.

Genesis rounds out the stations with accessories: a Thor 430 TKL wireless keyboard, a Zircon 880 Pro mouse, a Toron 706 headset, and a Boron 500 XXL mouse pad. Diablo Chairs is contributing Diablo X-Horn 2.0 “Bloody Mary” gaming chairs as well as matching gaming tables, designed to ensure comfort during tournaments and long gaming sessions. Finally, Thrustmaster is supplying the racing simulator hardware for the sim-racing zone.

The result isn’t a traditional product showcase, but rather a booth where visitors can test the G-Master monitors exactly where it counts: right in the middle of the game.

From Ace Combat to Dragon Ball: G-Master Meets Bandai Namco

The G-Master monitors are also in use outside of their own booth. At the Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe booth in Hall 6.1, A20/B021, visitors can try out some of the most exciting upcoming games on iiyama displays. These include Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, the latest installment in the well-known flight simulator series. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will be playable in Europe for the first time at Gamescom. Those who prefer something darker can immerse themselves in The Blood of Dawnwalker, a dark fantasy action RPG from Rebel Wolves studio that transports players to a grim 14th-century Europe.

Conclusion: Is it worth visiting the iiyama booth at Gamescom 2026?

For anyone interested in new gaming monitors, the iiyama booth at Gamescom 2026 is one of the stops worth making. The GCB4986DQSNP-B1 can be tested in a realistic sim-racing setup ahead of its September launch, while the Titan Falcon OLED demonstrates just how snappy a 280-Hz panel looks in action, and even if you don’t win a tournament, you still have a chance to win hardware in the daily monitor giveaway. Hall 10.1, Booth A078, is therefore a great place to start for anyone who’d rather try out gaming hardware for themselves than just compare specs on paper.
