In Win introduces two very special cases

The RPG fans among you may know the motto “Style over Substance”. This refers to nothing more than giving a character’s appearance more importance than mere performance. In Win now seems to be making a similar move with its unique N127 and N515 cases. For example, the company unceremoniously replaces its slots for the 5.25-inch drives with a window that reveals some really cool lighting effects. The case manufacturer also seems to depart from usual patterns in other aspects.

Completely new front

A look at the two upcoming cases definitely provides one or the other aha effect. On the one hand, there is the simulated starry sky, which acts as a visual highlight on the upper front. Connoisseurs of classic cases from In Win will also notice another detail.

So, for the first time, the manufacturer relies on a mesh front in an open design. So while the front pretty much makes everything new, the design inside the case has remained typical of the manufacturer. Veterans of In Win will feel reminded of the layout of the Win 101 or 303.

Special cooling features

However, the two upcoming cases differ a bit in their design from the ones just mentioned. Especially the cooling concept is different here. Both cases have the option of installing three fans at the bottom. The circulating air can then flow out of the case through the side as well as the back.

Alternatively, the front also offers room for two more fans. However, this also results in the other components being assigned other locations. Thus, both PSU and hard drives can be installed directly above the main board.

Slim design

In order to be able to place the two chic cases on conventional desks without being slain, In Win relies on a narrow design. However, this also imposes a certain limitation on the choice of CPU cooler. It cannot be higher than 160 mm. However, if you take a look at the processor market, this should be sufficient for most conventional users.

Those who want to screw together a performance beast should probably reach for another case anyway. By the way, there aren’t supposed to be any size limits for the GPU. Should it be an XXL model, which even comes up with a separate cooler, an additional support provides an appropriate hold.

Price and availability

While the design will certainly appeal to lovers of extravagant cases, the price is unfortunately not as attractive. For example, the Nebula N515 costs just under 194 euros. On the other hand, we do not yet know how much the new N127 will cost. However, it should be a bit cheaper than its big brother. You can already buy the N515 via the online store of In Win.
