With the premiere of the new HEMS (Home Energy Management System) and the launch of the PowerPulse 2, the company is presenting a fully networked, AI-supported solution for optimizing energy consumption in the home – with impressive new features.
EcoFlow HEMS: Intelligent energy management
The EcoFlow HEMS is at the center of the trade fair presentation and promises nothing less than a revolution in terms of energy self-sufficiency.
Controlled by artificial intelligence, the system optimizes power consumption, reduces energy costs and makes self-consumption from solar systems more efficient than ever. It impresses with a savings potential of up to 77.6% thanks to AI-Maximized Tariff Savings.
Two AI modes – maximum flexibility for users
HEMS offers multi-mode AI control. Users can choose between two different AI modes:
- SmartEarning Mode – for maximum savings with an intelligent battery balance algorithm that also takes battery life into account
- PureGreen Mode – for the greatest possible independence from the power grid through optimal use of surplus solar energy,
Depending on the upcoming weather conditions, the system automatically ensures sufficient battery capacity and thus guarantees a reliable power supply – a real plus in times of increasing storm risks.
Intelligent networking of all energy sources
What sets EcoFlow apart from other providers is the seamless integration of various components in the household – from the battery system to the heat pump and instantaneous water heater through to the new EV charging solution PowerPulse 2.
The system is controlled centrally via the user-friendly EcoFlow app. This allows energy flows to be tracked and controlled in real time. Particularly impressive: the system’s solar and consumption forecasts are 90% accurate.
EcoFlow uses a wide range of parameters as the basis for its calculations. It is supported by weather data, tariff information from over 500 energy providers (including Tibber, EPEX SPOT and Octopus) and the current battery status.
PowerPulse 2: AI-supported charging
With the PowerPulse 2, EcoFlow introduces a new generation of intelligent EV charging technology.
Two modes make the difference:
