InWin Chopin MAX: Compact Mini-ITX case with strong airflow

With the InWin Chopin MAX, you can expect a compact mini-ITX case that wants to score with a classy look and excellent airflow. The manufacturer relies on brushed aluminum for the look and offers a wide compatibility with high-quality hardware inside.

The InWin Chopin MAX in detail

The InWin Chopin MAX presents itself as a compact mini-ITX case and comes in the colors Titanium Grey, Black and Silver. On the outside, the manufacturer goes for a brushed aluminum look, while the mesh panel on the top has been completely redesigned to further improve airflow.

It measures 217 x 84 x 244 mm and weighs just 2.2 kilograms. Nevertheless, the case offers space for high-quality components inside and can be visually customized with a stripe for the I/O panel in four different colors (green, blue, orange and red).

CPU coolers are allowed to grow up to 54 mm high in the new case, with the manufacturer promising broad compatibility with Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 CPUs of the 10th, 11th and 12th generation.

AMD CPUs from the Ryzen 2400G up to the 5700G can also be used, but you’d better not go beyond that – at least according to the manufacturer. This is ensured by the already installed 200-watt power supply in 80 PLUS Gold standard, which is supposed to score with a convincing energy efficiency at minimum noise.

Many connections and expansion options

Despite its compact dimensions, the InWin Chopin MAX offers space for two 2.5-inch SSDs, which can be installed quickly and easily. You can also easily access the back of the motherboard – after all, some Mini-ITX board designs offer an additional M.2 port here.

The I/O panel of the case is also well equipped. For example, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 is available here as a Type-C port, which transfers data at up to 20 GB/s. In addition, there are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, as well as two 3.5 mm jacks for headphones and microphones.
