JBL Live Flex: New in-ear headphones promise powerful sound

With the JBL Live Flex, the manufacturer has introduced a new in-ear headphone that wants to convince especially in terms of sound and promises a high wearing comfort.

New in-ear headphones from JBL: The JBL Live Flex is said to offer particularly powerful sound with dynamic 12 mm neodymium drivers and relies on the manufacturer’s signature sound.

Via the JBL Headphones app, the sound is even said to be customizable to the user’s own ears through an ear canal test, while the active noise cancellation (ANC) is also customized. HARMAN’s advanced Personi-Fi 2.0 technology conveniently supports the creation of a personal listening profile and individual, personalized sound performance.

Long battery life, compelling microphones

Further, the JBL Live Flex come with up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC deactivated, eight of which is directly attributable to the earphones and another 32 hours to the charging case. With active noise cancellation, up to 30 hours are still possible.

The case can even be charged wirelessly in the Qi standard. The JBL Live Flex themselves are water- and dust-resistant according to IP54 and support the latest Bluetooth 5.3 LE – even if only after an OTA update at a later date.

Multi-Point for connecting to multiple devices is also offered, as is a convincing phone quality thanks to a total of six built-in microphones. Voice control allows users to conveniently and seamlessly control their voice assistants, such as via Google Assistant or Alexa.

Price and Availability

The JBL Live Flex are available now on the manufacturer’s website. They are offered in black, blue, silver and pink. The recommended retail price is 179.99 euros.
