With the Reflect Flow PRO, JBL introduces a new wireless in-ear headphone that is supposed to impress with IP68 classification as well as its sound.
Headphones for use in extreme conditions
With the water and dust protection, JBL wants to take into account the fact that headphones are no longer used merely in the home: They are worn during sports, walks and in all kinds of other everyday situations in which they should be robust. Especially during sweaty activities, water protection is a necessity. With IP68 certification, sweat or rain can’t harm JBL’s new headphones: They are waterproof and could even be used in the ocean.
Add to that a battery life of up to 30 hours, which should also help you use the headphones in a wide variety of settings. Longer hiking tours or an extensive workout are thus easily possible with music.
Other features
Features of the Reflect Flow PRO highlighted by JBL include adaptive noise cancelling, which is supposed to allow for trouble-free understanding even in windy conditions, and a quick-charge function: after ten minutes of charging, there is supposed to be enough energy for one hour of use. To enable the shielding against wind, six microphones are used, which can reliably pick up the noise and thus initiate a neutralization process.
The headphones are driven by 6.8 mm drivers, which are supposed to provide a balanced sound. In addition, there is Bluetooth 5.0, support for Google’s voice assistant as well as Amazon’s Alexa, and Google Fast Pair support for quickly establishing a connection. Rounding out the offerings are All-Access touch control and secure fit through TWS Powerfin.
Price and Availability
The headphones are available now for 179 euros.
