JONR will be exhibiting at IFA 2026 in Berlin (Hall 9 – 115), where it will showcase a new generation of its smart floor care products. The focus is on the company’s proprietary Odor-Free technology, which is designed to address one of the most commonly underestimated problems when mopping and vacuuming: unpleasant odors caused by leftover dirty water. We take a look at the manufacturer’s most important new products.

Odor-Free Technology: Combating Odors Right at the Source

While the industry has focused primarily on suction power and cleaning results in recent years, one aspect has often been overlooked: what remains inside the machine after cleaning. Residual dirty water, moisture, and bacterial growth inside the machine are considered one of the main causes of unpleasant odors in wet-dry vacuums and robotic vacuums.

According to the company, JONR has invested over two years in developing its Odor-Free Technology. The goal was to redesign the internal architecture of the cleaning systems so that residues do not accumulate in the first place, rather than simply masking odors after they have developed. The company states that it brings more than 20 years of experience in development and manufacturing to the table, with product design, engineering, production, and operations handled entirely in-house.

JONR H2 Pro: Floor-Mounted Dirty Water Tank for Reduced Odor Formation

Kicking things off is the JONR H2 Pro, a cordless wet/dry vacuum with a downward-facing dirty water tank. Unlike traditional designs with a longer wastewater path, this design is intended to significantly shorten the water’s flow path within the unit, thereby leaving fewer residues behind.

In addition, the brush roll self-cleans via a “Hot Bath” system using heated water and continuous high-pressure rinsing, while hot-air drying ensures that every cleaning cycle begins with a fresh brush roll.

JONR Z70 Pro: Dual-roller system for larger households

With the Z70 Pro, JONR is launching a wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner with two counter-rotating rollers, designed for larger living spaces and more demanding cleaning tasks. The front roller is designed to loosen coarse dirt using a high volume of water, while the rear roller absorbs residual moisture—according to JONR, this is supposed to speed up cleaning by about 30%.

JONR M70 Pro: Foam cleaning with smart environment detection

The M70 Pro utilizes nano-active foam technology, in which ultra-fine microbubbles penetrate deep into stains, supported by spot detection that specifically targets heavily soiled areas. As with the Z70 Pro, a 90 °C self-cleaning system ensures hygienic rollers after every use.

Specifications Details

JONR X9 Pro: Robot vacuum with a five-blade agitator to combat odors

With the X9 Pro, JONR brings its Odor-Free principle to the robotic vacuum category. In addition to a 16-nozzle fresh water system, AI-powered pet detection, and a triple Auto-Lift system for the side brush, main roller, and mopping pad, the model features—according to the manufacturer—an industry-first five-blade agitator in the dirty water tank.

Spray nozzles 16
Wastewater tank Five-blade agitator to prevent sediment buildup
Fresh water tank (station) 4 L
Wastewater tank (station) 3.2 L
Dust bag 2.5 L, up to 60 days
Navigation LDS laser + dual laser + AI object recognition
Battery 5,200 mAh

JONR at IFA 2026

Anyone interested in seeing the new products in person can find the JONR booth in Hall 9, Booth 115, during IFA Berlin 2026. According to the manufacturer, the new models are scheduled to be gradually introduced to the market over the course of the rest of the year.

Conclusion

With its Odor-Free technology, JONR is taking an approach that goes beyond mere suction power: Instead of fighting odors after the fact, floor-mounted tanks, shorter wastewater pathways, and active agitation systems—such as those found in the X9 Pro—are designed to prevent them from forming in the first place. We’ll see whether the new technology actually delivers on its promises in everyday use as soon as the first test units become available.
