With the new JONR H2 Series, the manufacturer is announcing a new generation of floor washers designed to tackle a well-known problem of many wet cleaners directly at the source: unpleasant odors from the dirty water tank. Instead of simply reducing odors with filters or additional functions, JONR takes a constructive approach that starts with the design of the appliance. At the heart of the series is the H2 Pro model, which also offers enhanced hygiene functions.

Avoiding odors by design

Many conventional wet cleaners have a design-related disadvantage: the dirty water tank is located in the air flow of the appliance. This means that odors can spread during use or as soon as the appliance is switched on. The H2 Series takes a different approach here. The recovery tank is located at the bottom of the appliance and separated from the air flow.

This is intended to prevent odors from entering the air system in the first place. According to the manufacturer, this keeps the air flow clean right from the start, which means that no unpleasant odors are produced when the appliance is started. JONR describes this concept as “Zero-Odor by Design” – in other words, a solution in which odor problems are not combated, but avoided by design.

JONR H2 with comfort functions

In addition to the odor problem, the new series also addresses two other challenges that many households face in everyday life: Hair and streaks on hard floors. Here, JONR relies on a specially developed roller system that uses zero-tangle technology to prevent hair from getting caught in the cleaning mechanism.

This can significantly reduce the cleaning effort, especially in households with long hair or pets. The cleaning system is complemented by a spray concept with a total of 40 nozzles, which is designed to ensure that the floor surface is evenly moistened. This should ensure more thorough cleaning and a streak-free surface at the same time.

The design also focuses on suitability for everyday use. The cleaner can be laid flat on the floor by up to 180 degrees, making it easier to reach areas under furniture. At the same time, a lightweight design combined with traction support should ensure that the appliance is particularly easy to move around the home.

JONR H2 and H2 Pro: Two models to choose from

JONR is positioning two models within the H2 Series: the H2 as the entry-level version and the H2 Pro as the upgraded comfort-focused version. Both devices are based on the same technical foundation and feature the structural Zero-Odor system as well as the basic cleaning technology. The differences lie primarily in the areas of hygiene and comfort.

With the H2, the roller is self-cleaned with cold water and then dried using a cold air spin dryer. The H2 Pro extends this concept to include warm water self-cleaning of the roller. Hot air drying is also used, which is intended to dry the roller faster and further reduce the formation of odors or bacteria.

Market launch of the new series

With the H2 Series, JONR is pursuing an overall approach that focuses less on individual additional functions and more on a fundamental overhaul of the appliance architecture. The aim is a cleaning system that avoids typical problems such as odors, hair entanglement and streaking from the outset as far as possible. JONR is launching an attractive early bird promotion from May 15 to June 15, 2026. The JONR H2 will be available for €169.99 (€199.99), and the JONR H2 Pro for €199.99 (€299.99).
